The club has said they offered Crichton $700k. Unless they are lying the money was there for Api. They chose to go elsewhere with it.

That is a centre and a prop who's money could of gone elsewhere, In Crichton's case is but there are very young guys in the wings. As such the depth is very weak now

the already shortened pre-season made worse by the RLWC last year - injuries were going to be inevitable

good news is this is happening before Origin period - a few boys being out is very inconvenient but at least gives them good rest during the season for a crack at September.

we're fine atm - just a lot of inconvenience but the season is not over for us, hope the media & pundits doubt us - we love being an underdog @ Penrith
