Can we all just kiss and carry on.

Favourite Fullback of the Last 15 Years

What Edwards has done the last 3 years eclipses anything any other fullback for his club has accomplished. The least talented but determined, dedicated, and uncompromising, something that probably typifies the club and area. He won us a finals series/GF playing with a broken foot ffs.

    Just wow

Should've got it done in normal time too. With investment from the US, private ownership and (likely) 7+ A League boys in the WC squad / team, I wonder if the A League gets a bit of a lift over the next couple of seasons.

    Penrith v Newcastle

Could’ve hit 60 if we didn’t leave Huth on the bench for 50mins. Severely under played today imo. Some of his passing and timing of said passing, was sublime. From Plod to God. Re; Kiks, he is on another planet to any other backrower in the comp atm and Luai’s decision making when using him has...

    2022 Origin I - Wed 8 Jun - NSW 10-16 QLD @ Accor

Another? I’d have our whole squad in there if I could. They’re superior to the absolute rabble provided by the other clubs.

    State of origin series

I just hope we didn’t just get a sneak peak of how much time Cleary and Luai will get on the ball without Api and Kiks next year.

    State of origin series

Alice appreciate your love for the Panthers / Cleary and agree he wasn’t helped by some things out of his control but if he’s the best player in the world like many think he is, he’s got to be a lot better than that. Hardly fired a shot all night.

Yeh got to agree. His (& Cleary) worst game in 2/3 seasons. Think they both struggled without Api there.

    Rd.13 v Bulldogs - Origin Time

I definitely have no issue with how he played, thought he was terrific for the most part.

SOS was good but there were multiple times when Edwards had wrapped around him and created a two man overlap only for SOS to dummy and go himself. Hard to argue with your 3,2,1.

Scott McRae - Not Wanted For 2020

You obviously hang around the wrong people Fangs, which doesn't surprise me tbh. I think you'll find hush occurred during the masterpiece as the whole place was in awe.

I’ve often thought I’d like to see Luai pop up on the right for a bit. He did it a bit v Cowboys and we looked better for it. Re; Leniu, why did we leave it to the 50th min to bring him on? Seemed a perfect game to give him some substantial time.

    Rd.13 v Bulldogs - Origin Time

Really? I thought it was one of his best games. Defensively he’s ridiculously consistent. Whys every talking up Smith? He played 29 mins. I take the piss a bit with our mate Salmon, but thought he was more impressive.

Getting worried about the Huth tbh his days of being the king of effective plod look numbered. He’s now halfway to Yeo.

    Rd.13 v Bulldogs - Origin Time

That's all good and well if you don't get any injuries during the game and having a utility on the bench becomes a luxury, but if we have a player go down early I doubt any utility is going to perform to any level if they've been averaging 6 mins a week.

    Rd.13 v Bulldogs - Origin Time

It probably doesn't if it's one game alone, however you'd think if he performs at a solid level it should give him a bit of confidence which would allow us the opportunity to rest Luai or Cleary over the next couple of months while also building up the fitness/confidence of a player within our...

    Rd.13 v Bulldogs - Origin Time

Pretty short term view from the club IMO. So when Luai or Cleary go down early in a semi, we rely on a player who hasn't played 5/8th in over 2 seasons and averages about 10 mins per game? Doesn't make sense to me, you may as well run with a second rower in his place on the bench then. Great...

    Rd.13 v Bulldogs - Origin Time

So why wouldn’t you give Salmon time in those positions when you have the opportunity to do so? Rather than playing Falls who is 4th choice and won’t get a sniff unless we get some significant injuries.

    Rd.13 v Bulldogs - Origin Time

I would've played Smuggys man Salmon at 6. Unless they are actually intending him to play some decent minutes on an edge/middle this week, seems pointless giving him another 10 mins here and there. Why not try and give him a decent run at 6 so if we do cop and injury in the halves or backs and...
