    Championship and League 1 2018

It must be frustrating. I love following the UK game (Wigan fan), yet am baffled as to all the constant restructuring nonsense that happens. Top 5 is a great move for a finals series but the end of season change is pathetic.

2018 NSWRL Senior Comps - ISP, Flegg, RMC, Shield

4 games in one day to fill 9's commitment is a big ask. Sentimental favourites in the Shield are Easts for mine. My cousin's partner plays for them, they're aligned to WT, and it'll be nice if they got the win for Wayde. Massey should be Wenty in a canter. Flegg is a coin toss. ISP I'd take...

    Championship and League 1 2018

1st past the post is promoted, winner of playoff is promoted. Loser of playoff plays championships 11th placed team in a promotion match. Why they decide to alter the league structure effective with a month remaining is asinine. Lol @ thinking Oldham will get promoted.

    Elimination Final v Wyong Roos

I said it at the time and proved justified that we should not have gone for the 2 when the dropout didn't go 10. We had a full set, 10m out, and a fading Wyong line. Could've scored and gone 14-6 up, coast to victory and see the Dogs this week. Not that it matters with the Panthers being so far...

    Middle 8’s

York did them on aggregate 276-0 this season. Questions must be asked for League 1 when there's such a gap in 'talent' and those margings. West Wales have been belted in almost every game.

    NRL Expansion. Ideas and opinions.

There's enough talent running around in the ISP and ISC competitions, plus ex-pats in the Super League, to more than fill 2 NRL squads (plus kids coming up through the ranks). The NRL could easily get back to a 20-team competition split into conferences of 10. Play everyone in your conference...

    Womens NRL Clashes

A lot of the Cronulla-Caringbah girls were upset about it. I may be wrong but I was sure they made up most of the NSW team last year. It's a trial to see how it works. Next year they'll expand as the profile grows. Cronulla and Souths will be walk ins. Eventually they should aim to have a...

2018 NSWRL Senior Comps - ISP, Flegg, RMC, Shield

It's Wests final home ISP game this Saturday. A little blemish on the scheduling to end with 6 straight away games but meh, can't complain as there's some good road trips ahead. Kind of a crunch game really, as the form has been dipping since Drinkwater left and Wests need a boost leading into...

    NRL Expansion. Ideas and opinions.

Adelaide is not a league city and the Rams was a colossal failure of a venture. Perth is a must, as is a 2nd NZ team for the kiwis who dislike Auckland and want their own franchise to get behind, as well as adding some rivalry to the Warriors.

    Championship and League 1 2018

They don't use the video ref in the Championship. West Wales smashed again.

2018 NSWRL Senior Comps - ISP, Flegg, RMC, Shield

Glebe Burwood full of thugs. You'd imagine the NSWRL would want to come down hard on the sent off players.

What we need is a good centre or two

Kevin at fullback is a very good idea. Noffa is a liability and shouldn't be near our top side - coincidence that he comes up and we lose 3 straight?

Match Discussion: Round 9 vs Warriors @ Mt Smart Stadium

It was our first 'belting' and I'm sure it's what we needed. Thompson is being asked to do too much, should be on the wing. That then forces a hand to play Tui at fullback, and Fonua on the other wing. Noffa is a liability and should be punted to reggies for the season. Our forwards looked gas...

2018 NSWRL Senior Comps - ISP, Flegg, RMC, Shield

Josh Drinkwater has left Western Suburbs Magpies to take up a deal with the Catalans. A damn shame for Wests as Josh has been in brilliant form.

Match Discussion: Round 5 vs Storm @ Mt Smart Stadium

Nof can return to FG when he stops the up and in defence. Several of them today in ISP and thankfully they had cover to stop tries being scored against them.

How can Mounties do that under the points system? Seems unfair on the other sides.

    Fair point raised.

If the 'heartland' teams are good enough, they'll be up there to have a case to be 'promoted' in an expanded format.
