    I don't agree Leota's a level below first grade. Maybe a year or two ago but since then he's consistently improved & would be in the 17 or close to for most clubs. Doesn't let up defensively & is effective with ball in hand, rarely gets monstered in tackles. Imo his minutes should be upped...

    Where has $350k - $400k been mentioned? Nowhere near that money. Leota runs hard, uses his footwork late & falls on his front more times then not. He creates quick play the balls consistently. Defensively he's one of the best in our squad & he is continuing to improve rather than regress like...

    I’m not worried about Naden in attack but defensively he is horrendous. Imo Blake plays against the Broncs, we win. He would of controlled Staggs without issue, whereas Naden didn’t lay a finger on him all night. Maybe Naden will improve but at the moment I think he’s a long way from Blake.

    Sometimes I think I must be watching a different game. Leota has been terrific the last month & solid the rest of the year. Severely underused at times, He’s started to develop an offload & is using his footwork close to the line. The guys on $150k not $800k, the absolute least of our problems.

    Good call re; Reynolds at Hooker & Bird. You got to think with Olam, Seve & Scott fighting for the same spot, one of them will go. I’d take any of them. Scott might be the most likely as you think he’d be on significantly more than the other 2.

    Still not sure re; Blake. Even if we were paying slight overs, not sure we find a better replacement. I think his defensive qualities get overlooked too often. Sure his attack is a bit limited but our whole squad has gone backwards & is looking limited this year under Cleary.
