    I do agree but the rule has stayed the same the whole year. I know front rowers aren’t the brightest bunch but surely by Rnd 24 you’d know to keep moving forward.

    I totally agree, he may even be ready mid next year but for people to put a line through Luai based on 1 game from Burton is ridiculous.

    Tbh I think we’re getting a bit carried away with Burton. Looks a player with the ball but got found out defensively the entire second half leading to 18+ points. No doubt fatigue & inexperience had a lot to do with it, but at the same time I can’t remember Luai having those issues.

    He has not been lunted, he has been punted. Passing is quality. Absolute myth that he can't pass, far superior to any other option. His decision making when fatigued is where he struggles.

    I still reckon our best no.14 option is Katoa. I don't think Egan or Kenny offer anymore impact wise & both cover less positions.

    Not sure I agree, I think we'll have to pay massive money to get him out here. He's under contract at a club consistently battling for the premiership... why would he even look at us unless it was for more $$$? I do agree we need an aggressor in our pack, but I'm not even sure he's that...

    Agree but not much out there with Api gone. We’ll probably end up with Levi. JWH is average imo. Gets talked up something chronic by the media, but not sure he’s any better then what we have.

    Kinda my point though. Players that are labelled 'journeymen' & are the first ones out the door regardless of their performances. They're the easiest targets by coaches & supporters. As good as Martin has been at times, he's also had some stinkers & I think the balance of the side would of been...

    You said he was playing up to the midway point of the season. He wasn't. If his performance/s have justified being cut out of the picture the rest of the season, I can think of 16 other players that should of seen the same fate. & I agree, Hethero is in the same boat.

    It's irrelevant if hes named on an extended bench, especially given our injuries / unavailables, he's not playing. He's played 5 games all year. When was the last game he played? I'd be surprised if it was after Rnd 10.

    He went from being the player people were most excited about seeing based on his pre-season, the coaching staff talking him up, starting at lock in NRL etc. etc. to missing a training session & never being seen again. There was 2 or 3 scapegoats for our poor start, he was one of them.

    Not sure I agree with that. Runs better lines then anyone at the club imo. Gets us on the front foot with quick play the balls, if he was a junior I think many people would have a higher opinion of him.

    Yeh not too sure tbh. I agree, been good for us & been underused imo. I think he's easily in our top 17 but maybe they see these last couple of games as a good chance to get Burns ready for next year.
