    To me Cleary is basically Cooper Cronk with much better defense and a worse kicking game. Cronk rarely plays off the cuff because he only plays to structure. He doesn't have great instincts but what he has is playing in a team with the two best attacking structures in the game (Storm/ Roosters)...

    Nah if anything hooker is a more instinctive thing than halfback if you play there right. You have to decide when it's best to engage the markers and, it's best to pass straight away and when you go yourself. Cleary doesn't really have that instinct of what's the best choice to make in reaction...

    Bunnies have a better team on paper than we do. None of our props bend the line and get quick play the balls regularly like the Burges twins do. The closest to that we have is Kikau but he generally doesn't play the ball quick and Cook is a mile above Egan or Katoa. The Bennet coached Broncos...

    They're going shit have but he's still been if not their best forward one of them. The problem is they've only got about 4 or 5 decent if not great players. And Merrin and Hurrell are two of them.

    Ehh, Winterstein plays his best at second row when he's terrorizing halves. Grant's purely a prop and not at all suited to second row.

    Disagree his defense is great, overlaps are the result of the guys inside him like Jimmy and he comes up and jams when that happens which is pretty much the best thing you can do in that situation.

    JFH's try was due to Jimmy fooling Ponga by faking to kick. That opened space for Cleary.

    He came up with big plays to win the game when it mattered. Stats don't tell the whole story you can't solely rely on them. According to stats Ash Taylor had the 2nd most try assists last year (behind JT) so he's the best half in the NRL now if you go by stats but nobody sane believes that.

    Lindsay Smith for most of the SG ball season too. Some players are injury prone when they're young before they've grown into their body. Fish was like that so I hope that's his problem. And everyone's talking about Blore but Leniu's got just as big a future imo. Big and very aggressive.

    Hopefully Liam Martin really kills it at second row. I think he was named 19th man so it seems like Ivan rates him. And holy shit Jed Cartwright's playing at centre even putting on some kilos and being almost 200cms. Feel sorry for the centre and half defending against him.
