    Sharing. Its not a charity Brisbane pay a lot of money for Magic round. It grows every year. I am all for creating a 2nd Magic round but that will also have to make money for the clubs for it to be worth doing. This sense of entitlement needs to stop.

    After this weekend the NRL will probably have a viewership lead of over 15million aggregate viewers. Baring a disaster, there is almost no way the AFL can catch the NRL on aggregate viewers this year. (Touch wood) The way things a tracking the gap in aggregate veiwership will be its largest ever.

    Current distribution to NRL clubs in 2023 went up by 2million. NRL distrubution 2023 is 17-18m per club. New broadcast deal in 2027 will Guarantee the distrubution in 2028 will be over 20m, cap will probably be 17m per club in 2028.
