New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

OK so significantly less talented players, playing in front of a fraction of an audience for peanuts at a slower pace with no history or social relevance with a net worth of around 5% of the NRL. .. being inferior to the NRL is just my opinion? Lol

New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

Like what one is followed every week for 7 months straight? That one? Or the 6 games at test level?

If you break it down to Rugby of any kind: The Nrl are the biggest Rugby competition in the world... let that fully sink in.. no other Rugby competition on the planet comes close! 17 teams full of 12 million dollars worth of talent a piece. 240 million dollars in talent playing in front of an...

New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

I remember when people said MMA will never challenge boxing.. A better thing is a better thing and will always succeed in time over something inferior. Only question is how long? Only the current trajectory of both sports with a second NZ side, I'd say between 10 and 20 years.

New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

Picture a nice little town with around 3 coffee shops..then imagine what happens when they get a Starbucks. The Nrl in Christchurch will be just that, it will blow RU out of the water.

New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

They can't be that bad if they're still working with a calibre of people that could put together a bid like this. Most of the bankers who caused the GFC kept their jobs.. shit happens.

Next time you're in NZ, insist on AUD . It'll go down a treat... peanut king.

New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

What's particularly clever is the fact they kept it hush... rival bids didn't know what they were up against..Perth didn't put up a cent... Kea..20 million.. Now they're all playing catch up.. And even the folks on here still coming to terms with the word " bid " 🤦‍♂️
