KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

Tamale is listed as one of the try scorers, so he definitely did play. Was interchanged with around 3 minutes to go, so possibly picked up a late injury??

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

See Corey Ackers and Loko Tonga both chosen to play off the bench for the Jersey Flegg team playing at 1.30pm today. Two of our many outstanding forward prospects. Congratulations to both of them.

Round 8 Vs Roosters ANZAC DAY GAME

Although the NRL was talking up the promotion of getting back to the days of all 3 grades playing at the same venue, it seems to have been shelved for now. Both the lower grade games are being played at Wentworth Park on Sunday. A pity really and another opportunity missed. What a great honour...

    The Rumours Thread

I am with you Big Rig that our current contracted top squad number is 29. Will try and listen to the Dragons podcast soon.

Young Dylan Egan also been playing in the Flegg team.

    Round 7 v Raiders

With the right head coach and assistant coaches and support staff, so many of our players will improve if only through learning many of the basic fundamentals of how to play first grade rugby league. A good kicking coach will not only adjust Lomax's kicking style, but could well take it a...

    Round 7 v Raiders

The buck has to stop somewhere. At this level it will always be the coach. Today is just another nail in the coffin for Griffin.

    Coaching preference for 2024

So a week or so back we were lead to believe the Dragons locals of Ryles, Young and Hornby were being over looked for an experienced NRL coach. Now Hornby appears to be one of the favourites for the job, with Nathan Brown favoured to rejoin the club in a senior football role somewhere. As I...

    Coaching preference for 2024

I would be more than happy to see Nathan Brown return to the Red V in the recruitment job. A true Dragons man with a very good eye for spotting talent.

    Sack Griffin

More likely Hasler and Fulton for starters.

    Coaching preference for 2024

I think the coaching situation going forward will become a lot clearer after the board meeting next Tuesday. The way it usually works is the short list will be leaked to the media, and will generally indicate who is the favourite for the job.

    Behind paywall

Hoping someone can help me with a minor issue. What do I need to do to stop getting an email each time someone posts a comment from a thread that I have posted a comment in?? Thanks for any help.

    R6 Titans

Griffin said we were leaking too many points down our left side, so decided to switch Suli and Lomax. Does not appear to have worked so far, although of the 2, Suli appears to be able to play both sides more competently.

    R6 Titans

And so it goes on. Molo looking at a 3 week suspension, but thankfully Su'a a fine only. Hoping Musgrove's injury from Saturday is not serious so he comes straight in. An upgrade on what Molo following his game v Titans.

    R6 Titans

I am a bit more optimistic about the future. You look at Newcastle now, and many other teams in the past who have gone from the cellar to the top 8 in a matter of one to two seasons. There is definitely enough talent there for us to be a lot higher up the ladder. Sullivan and both Couchmans...

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

I watched around the last 25 minutes of the match. Thought Herring, Couchman and Molo also played strong. Musgrove and Turner taken off with what appeared to be ankle injuries.

    The Rumours Thread

Well spotted Jeremy Dragon. Another thing to consider is the rule where all development players can be used from round 10 with no impact on the top squad numbers.

    The Rumours Thread

According to the official NRL.com website, the Dragons have 28 contracted players. So if the report from Dragonslayer about Fui's injury ends up in Fui not being able to play again you would think he will fall into the retired player category leaving us with 3 spots to fill. Makes me think we...

    Woods swap for Tuitavake

I know it is only early days, but Kerr appears to be on the way to finally bringing a level of consistency to his game this season. One thing I do want to give Kerr a wrap for is every time I have ever seen or heard him interviewed he always talks about how much he enjoys playing for the Dragons...
