    I know Boondall in Brissy is close to wetlands, but there is a sizeable amount of land there so if the gov sold that whole site off for housing it would surely make a shit load from developers. Then move the entertainment centre to the Gabba site so that the cross rive rail is at least...

    Ticket sales for Cowb v Dogs aren't looking great. Sunday night games are painful for the travelling contingent of the NQ supporter base (it's helpful for the boys backing up from origin though.....) saturday arvo/night would see this game hit 19-20k. I think it will be 16k on the night...

    looked like a lot of the NQ season ticket holders stayed away tonight, not sure if the V8's or school holidays played a part. Bit disappointing when there was less than 1k tickets left this afternoon and it's 6k off capacity.

    rubbish. Top price tickets in Brisbane was $300+ before covid. $80 would get restricted view or the shit seats at the top of the ends that had the roof beams blocking the views of the new bigger replay screens.

    The design was floored from the beginning though. Yes the AFL gave the NSW gov money to keep it "oval", but the E and West sides were built too far away from the get go, they should have been built closer but have the lower bowl end where it did in 1999 but the front row be 2.5-3m above ground...

    Capewell got absolutely torched in the centres in the 2021 series. He is even slower now, the only way it works is if Nanai moves to the centres (where I actually think he could play full time) and have Capewell in the back row. If Capewell is playing in the centres we will get destroyed.

    6th July game at QCB vs Manly looks to be well over the 20k mark already. Cowbs have some of the bigger drawing clubs coming up in the back end of the season Bronx's, Storm plus the Manly game is on during Laurie Spina shield carnival weekend, Doggies are playing well so should be enticing...
