    Maybe, the option allows them to explore all avenues with a guarantee in place. You're assuming, they could have got market rate and options for all we know.

    The way I see it is the option means they will test the market, they'd be crazy not to. If they don't have the option they'd might be more inclined to re sign prior to Nov 1. It will be interesting to see the Iongi contract. There was no mention of options on the lomax and simonson deals.

    I think their pack is too light weight, but they definately had a better understanding of the direction (earlier) of the game than our mob did. I'll give us credit in the fact there are plenty of young worker type forwards coming through atm spear headed by guymer.

    I feel like Hopgood has been miscast as an 80 minute workhorse. To me he's more a Cayless type player, a smaller skill full middle who is tough as nails. Should be playing 50 - 60 mins a game.

    Parramatta has positioned it as a transit lounge. A place where you can do an apprenticeship and have the opportunity to shop around for a better opportunity else where. That's what happens when you hand out POs to everyone
