Potential halfback solutions - short/long term.

Despite my baiting in the other thread I'd put Mortimer in for a run.. whilst I'm not 100% sure he'd be the right player to throw in against the Dragons, I think he has the potential but I don't want him going the same way that Tim Smith went i.e: Thrown in long before he was ready (even...

The two clubs in serious danger of collapse

Well... I'm just taking a wild guess.. But.. I dare say the first issue would be $$$$ and would rely on whether or not an existing structure was readily available or if a new one would need to be built. I doubt a big move would be feasible considering a move of such magnitude would take...

The two clubs in serious danger of collapse

Apart from $$$$$ Sadly the same organisations would be a Roadblock to Parra ever being able to Buy the Stadium :( Damn Crown Land.. Such a Pity the school buildings over the road are heritage listed.. would have been interesting to see how many (if any) approaches the leagues club made...

The two clubs in serious danger of collapse

If Parra had unrestricted access to their land I'm sure they would be much bigger.. Unfortunately our Club is Hamstrung by the Proximity to housing.. and also via things such as Friends of Parramatta Park.. Heritage Listings.. the Stadium Trust and Parramatta River...

    Pull the finger out Burt

It's called healthy debate of a Team Sport :) Everyone is going to have an opinion and a preference... and for the most part, discussions/comparisons are done with the good of the Team in mind :)

    Pull the finger out Burt

Puts on the Devils advocates Cap :) How can you say always?? I would love to see and compare Burts return yardage and line breaks from the returns with stats for our other option in Hayne.. when Burt runs the ball back at least he runs the whole way back unlike Hayne who jogs the first 10...

The two clubs in serious danger of collapse

I think.... The Leagues Club itself is running quite well but not as well as in the past due to Tax/Smoking laws etc.. what the issue is.. is the Mother Club won't guarantee the survival (financially) of the NRL/Footy Club. The Leagues Club board has to the have enough profit to cover their own...

The Western Academy Office was running out of CUA stadium initially until a permanent location was decided upon. The 2 Grades ie: Matts & Ball used to Train at Western Weekender. Funding was gained from the NRL along with the 3 District Clubs and Sponsorships to aid with setting up a permanent...
