Terrible news, Lance Thompson passes away overnight

I remember him being interviewed after a game (probably man of the match). By the time it finished all the players were heading back into the shed. But before he went in he sprinted to the eastern side of the field to applaud the dragon army. Many players talk of supporting teams as a kid. But...

    Dragons jersey without sleeve sponsors

I think a lot of people agree with you. I see more English premier league jerseys in Sydney than I do nrl jerseys. The epl jerseys look better, fit better and can be worn with jeans. I think the nrl needs to rethink its whole strategy here. Ok, you lose some money from the sponsorship. But...

    Dragons jersey without sleeve sponsors

If you really wanted to raise money from this forum it would say “sack mary”

    Dragons jersey without sleeve sponsors

I was about to type muzby.com into google... but then I thought no. I’d rather not know.

    Dragons jersey without sleeve sponsors

Just saw this picture on the nrl app. Took me a moment to realise why the jersey looked nicer than normal - no sleeve sponsor. I wish the nrl would limit sponsorship to just one major sponsor per jersey.

    Kurt Mann @ 5/8

I think the issue is more to do with the defensive work. He said recently that playing in the forwards is difficult because of his size - tackling bigger players means he uses up more energy in a tackle than a bigger man. He would really have to put on a good 10kg to be effective.

    Kurt Mann @ 5/8

Not sure there are any haters - more like doubters. Have to admit I’m one of them. But I’m hoping he takes this opportunity and causes a selection headache.

    Kurt Mann @ 5/8

It's probably worth mentioning that Lafai made the conscious decision to make less offloads at the start of the season. https://www.nrl.com/news/2018/02/12/offload-king-lafai-to-be-more-selective-in-2018/ It's noticeable that he's topped trying that little flick pass of his - I wonder if...

Mary is much better at whitewashing things.

Only saw the try once - but it was strange seeing Mann come up on the outside of Lafai. Finally some support play!

Refereeing Standards - It crap! + Ben Hunt Sin Bin threads

Sorry...not having a dig (i can see how it looks sarcastic) To be honest I have zero problems with automating objective rules. There are plenty enough subjective rules in the game to retain its characteristics. The reason I like lasers is that players will always try to get that extra meter...

KaBOOM! Ray Warren: ...hold the phone, there's an explosion in the defensive line. Is that Hunt?...it looks like Hunt is down and bleeding profusely! I think you will find his arm has been blown off....as we are check the replay now....and yes...there it is!...you can see it clearly. Hunt's...

I didn’t know that - although I’ve seen the same technology used in Nfl broadcats.

Referees will be replaced by terminators.

    OT - Overrated Bands

Not a big fan of INXS - but the concert at Wembley looked amazing. Saw a documentary about it and it’s funny to see them shitting themselves backstage before they get on.

In the future a laser line will appear on the ground exactly 10m from the tackled player. Any player offside will have their jerseys glow red until they get onside. It will be glorious.

    OT - Overrated Bands

Ok I’m going to stick my head out here and say that the proclaimers are arguably underrated. In Australia anyway - we treat them like a bit of a joke pop band. But they’re an institution in Scotland. Sunshine on Leith was adopted by hibs. Not quite you’ll never walk alone - but close.

    1. Canterbury 2. Canterbury 3. Canterbury 4. Broncos 5. Manly 6. Sharks 7 Souths (although this was in the 80s when they were good. In fact, I actually quite like them now) the rest I was ambivalent about

There are two versions of the Peppers. With John Frusciante is good. Without Frusciante is very mediocre.

This. Sunday Bloody Sunday must be one of the best opening tracks for any album. Probably an age thing as well. I remember listening to it the first time on cassette - so good.
