    Ikin was hit high and a penalty was warranted. Ikin's reaction just looked a tad like Craig Gower because he recovered quickly. I might be wrong and I blame Gower if I'm being suspicious. So many players are staying down to allow the video ref to pass judgement.

    I have serious doubts about Willie taking anyone to court. I would have had a writ issued the day the papers first published their statement. The Bulldogs management have not strongly denied that a player was fined $25,000 for testing positive. I think the silence will continue to be deafening.

    It was revealed today that the denial by Mason was based on a technicality. It seems the club did not proceed with the B specimen and hence he can say that he never tested positive legally. If he chooses to sue the papers for defamation, I doubt this argument will fly.
