Rumoured and Confirmed Signings and Other Assorted Crap VIII

Edwards did say we were stretched, though I find that hard to believe given we just released two players. This whole thing is ticking me off. We need the voice of reason to show us the light - Jodeci, I summon thee!

Rumoured and Confirmed Signings and Other Assorted Crap VIII

We have been trying to sign him for a while, and also just released Horo and E.Tonga. It simply doesn't add up - we released those two to make space for Folau, that much is obvious. Ergo, it isn't a money issue. @Jake the Snake I know your Dogs info is usually good, but most everyone knows...

Folau turns back on Eels to play rugby union

It can't possibly be money. Given the fact that the NRL are yet to approve the SBW deal as well, I assume they are just wasting everyone's time by having not yet made a decision. The idiots don't realize that the longer they wait, the more likely it is a rival code will snatch both players up.

Justin Horo and Esi Tonga have signed for Manly for 2013, according to RLW's Facebook page.

Rumoured and Confirmed Signings and Other Assorted Crap VIII

Amazing how quickly some people jumped up and down about how we would lose Hayne, not surprising to be honest. Still, the stark lack of quotes in the article and the statement "take it as fact" pretty much told me immediately that the article was bullplop. I didn't even have to see Danny...

I will have it later today. Thoughts in a week.

Steve Lyons and Tony De Las Heras get the punt!

Don't see why these two were punted. The main issue with the referees this year was consistency due to the moronic constant changing interpretation that Harrigan plied. The main problem is gone, and these two referees were hardly the worst offenders anyway.

Are you seriously that naive to think Hopoate would be on 900K a season?

Folau turns back on Eels to play rugby union

There's no goddam way the Bulldogs could afford Folau, let alone make a 'massive' offer to anyone. Seriously, if that's true, Schubert must be looking the other way. That's just ridiculous. Is that the NRL's policy now? Let the Bulldogs sign anyone they want? In any case, if we screw up this...

Folau turns back on Eels to play rugby union

One thing I think needs to be pointed out; how often does the media ever lay into Ricky? They almost never do. One of the worst things about being an Eels supporter for several years has been the constant media scrutiny; with Ricky at the helm, surprise, there's been very few negative articles...

Folau turns back on Eels to play rugby union

I don't think so ME - that's the kind of money you would think Hayne or Thurston would earn, not Folau. I don't know but Crawley boy is basing his entire article on the fact that Folau would be too expensive to play at centre or wing when he doesn't even know the correct figure.

    Assasins Creed 3

Well the main portion of the game is single-player, so yes. And it is a good game at that.

    Assasins Creed 3

I've beaten the game, here's my thoughts on the ending and story in general - DO NOT OPEN SPOILER QUOTE IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE ENTIRE GAME SPOILED. I really enjoyed the game, and found that after like 20 hours (haven't checked) I must have completely less than 50% of the whole game - despite...

NRL convert Israel Folau appears set to retire from Greater Western Sydney

Putting Folau at fullback is the equivalent of weakening one position to weaken another. Seriously, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever. He's far better at centre, we lack a good right centre. We have far better fullbacks, even if Hayne moves to five-eighth. Phil Crawley or whatever his name...

Folau turns back on Eels to play rugby union

Yes because the writer of the article obviously knows we will pay Folau 600K

NRL convert Israel Folau appears set to retire from Greater Western Sydney

Sounds to me like someone is twisting Ricky's words. He's said that we are strained to fit him in, not that we can't. DKOR Don't compare Boyd and Hayne in terms of playmaking, Hayne does far more than just a no-look cut-out pass in that regard.

NRL convert Israel Folau appears set to retire from Greater Western Sydney

From what I can tell the forward pack will be the focus of our 2014 recruitment by all reports. It is far too early to say with any kind of certainty of course but it would make sense. If we get Folau, we'll have a good young backline - most of them under 25. 1. Hayne/Mullaney 2. Blair 3. Tonga...

NRL convert Israel Folau appears set to retire from Greater Western Sydney

Wasn't he the top or near-top try-scorer two seasons in a row for you guys or something? Don't get me wrong, you have every right to be disappointed, but to be honest, I'd swoon to have a player like that in my team lol.
