Let's hope so...but if Bradford lose to Hull on friday they won't be so keen to release Vainikolo and Paul (as well as possibly Swann, Vagana and Vaikona) next year.
26, male, definitely single, self-employed, not a Sharks fan but your boys are on Sky in England nearly every week.
Good to see you beat a team coached by Matt Elliott :)
No, they didn't oppose each other. Learoyd played against us in 2002 for Aussie schoolboys. Graham didnt play in that. He played in 2003 for the academy v AIS.
Learoyd was up against guys like Ryan Bailey, Tommy Gallagher, Gareth Hock, Jon Wilkin and Jamis Langley.
Tom toured with Aussie schools in December 2002 in the team that lost 2-0 to England. IMO he was the best Australian in the party and from what I saw (I was at both tests), he is certain to be a star.
The cap has stopped stupid clubs like Wigan from going bust.
Before the cap was introduced (98) the pies were in a mess.
I have their financial accounts from 1997 and their salaries were 1.7 times their turnover. That equates to a salary cap %age of an incredible 171%.
Widnes and...
Hope they both go to a mid table club. Hull don't need them, they already have Horne and Prescott at full back.
This is the beauty of the cap, it evens the competition up.
Newton is the least consistent of the top hookers but, at best, he is absolutely fantastic. There have been many big games for Wigan in the last 3 years that he has won almost single handedly. Against Saints surrounded by a team of kids on good friday for starters.
nqboy, are you trying to win the troll of the year award?! You think Morley's got off scot free? THE SEND OFF COST GB THE FIRST TEST!!
In any sane person's language, that is not getting off scot free!!
And, yes, Stevens got ONE game and NO send off for trying to blind Terry O'Connor.
Whether you think they're good enough or not isn't really relevant. What is relevant is that Waite has lost 5 or 6 of his original GB squad for one reason or another.
And as for the rest of the drivel you managed to splutter out:
I'm sure the players were 100% fired up anyway.
The referee had blth teams back the same distance. Seems like you're just looking for things to complain about.
The British hooker is called Terry Newton. What fine rugby...
You're right. Over there he'd have got 4-6 games. But also, over there he wouldn't have been sent off. And I'd rather that had happened.
1-0 up and still able to play 13 men in the 2 remaining tests.
Totally agree. Australia only exposed our right side when GC was off the pitch. But people tend to decide before the game who they're going to criticise.
