    Why does there need to be a seperate series? The Bloody-slow is put on the line during the Rah Rah tri nations. We should re-work ours to do the same. We could either: 1) go back to a tri nations where each team plays each other twice. The Ashes are put on the line for the OZ v ENG/GB games...

    2 x refs = 2 times the gymps

    I was super skeptical but after watching the first 2 games I must say I have been converted. Game was fast, there was less crap going on around the ruck, I barely even noticed the refs on the field. Also agree the reduced use of the video ref is a massive step forward. LordLeague

    Just checked my opening ceremony tickets purchased last year and my lowest PAX is 462. Looks like a crowd in excess of 40,000 is already gauranteed! Can you confirm this Yak? Lord League

    Just saw Irish forward Wayne Kerr in brief interviews on both Channel 7 and 9 Six O'Clock news bulletins in Sydney. Sounded very Irish indeed. Great stuff. Also interviews with Adrian Morley and Tony Smith as they arrived in Brisbane and a snippet of French team singing and rocking minibus...

    It is very different. Wally was probably taken out of context. There was no name on the story which is a tell-tale sign of this being a very dubious "agenda" article. Brace yourself for more of this garbage over the next few weeks. If Wally did say those things, it is very disappointing...

    Motive for winning.

    Teams will want to finish top of the super pool to ensure they get the easy semi-final. That 2v3 semi is going to be cracker and could go either way on the day. If NZ or England could upset OZ in the pool game they could quite easily finish top of the super pool and get the easy road through...
