    Dead right there. While ever Smith is here we will get more of what we've seen last year. Newcastle people want home grown players that they can relate to, ATM we look like a 2nd NZ team. I'm waiting to see what next year brings, but I tend to go along with Karmas view ATM.

    Yep you are prob spot on. The problem with Newcastle are the residents group. They are all a thousand years old and don't want change. They whinge about the hill climb being run once a year because it's too noisey, they complain about the truckies day that raises money for the rescue helicopter...

    They are saying Wicks has lost 8KG, have to say when I saw him on TV last night he didn't look much different. Wicks biggest problem is involvement or rather his lack of it. He comes across as lazy, that may well be because of his size and weight. Lets see what he produces next season, hopefully...

    Exactly, it's unbelievable we can't make him some sort of offer that would be better than what Kurri are paying him, he must've gotten on the wrong side of somebody, that's the only concliusion you'd draw from it, especially as our front row stocks are going to be down next season.

    Very hard to say anyone went well last night with the exception of Cross and Hilder. Dureau was very, very poor, he really did look lost for options, and Mullen to be honest hasn't shown much all year. The team were very very flat.
