    NRL home page really poor!!!

    NRL website is great. The video homepage gives access to every game from every round to those unfortunate enough not to have access to good TV coverage. IE, the rest of the world without OZ/NZ I would happily pay $100 a year for this & i get it free!!!!

    Melon Are you seriously suggesting that the ideal business model for a sports club is to rely on the largesse of a few individuals (eg Packer)? The solution for the poorer clubs is to get a sugar daddy? Also, how much will Western Union pay to sponsor you when there is no opposition?

    Rooster coqburn, you're a funny guy. It won't be so amusing when the 2004 news on RL is all about some needless court case and nothing to do with the great action on the field. Union/AFL fans will be happy though.

    Doesn't the fact that EVERYONE disagrees with the Roosters position on this tell you something? Only one club voted for a salary cap increase (even though, the broncos, dogs etc would "benefit" to). What does that tell you? This surely isn't a situation where just cause your a Roosters fan...

    The point of the salary cap is so advantaged clubs like the Roosters don't get to keep all their good players. This is so the comp is even, which is why 2004 is so eagerly anticipated This is also to ensure the less well off clubs don't bankrupt themselves and their communities playing...
