    Info Needed on former player.

Wakefield Trinity have just signed Albert Talipeau and he played for Roosters for a few years. We are aware he was injured for 10 months with a broken leg and he has just secured a contract to kick start his career. We know he is 14 stone and 5 ft 9in. But other than that we have NO IDEA...

It will be a very interesting battle for pre-season and no doubt a physical contest as it always is with Leeds. Raz

    England A- Chris Thorman

Like i say he has potential...and if your coach has patience and coaches him well he could come good..But don't expect him to be a superstar straight away...he will need time to settle, bond with the team and develope his game especially defensively. Raz

    Solomona's Contract

Here we go. 1.Halpenny played for Halifax in the 2002 season, he signed for us for 2003 he played all season in the first team last year and featured at centre, wing and full back whch he impressed a few people...IMO a bit slow but a solid player nonetheless. His stats were for 2003. Now 7...

    semi tadulala

Yes he did in reserve grade he scored 4 in one match. I have checked and he scored a few braces too. His NRL stats for 2003 were. App - 12....... Try - 4 ........Goal - 0 .......Points - 16 He was on the interchange in one or two of his apps so considering statistics wise he wasn't...

    Solomona's Contract

Wakefield seem to have the strongest team in years now. These are some players you may recognise from the NRL who are with trinity 1st team. 1.David Solomona ( Paramatta Eels) 2.Sid Domic (Penrith Panthers) 3.Michael Korkidas (Sydney Roosters) 4.Dallas Hood (Sydney Roosters) 5.Albert...

    semi tadulala

haha...lol .. If he can score a try he will do!. The reason he was brought in was because over the last years we have lacked speed and pace on the wings..Ryder injects that much needed pace to beat men in the open. The coach has all the players working hard anyway and the new phsio/fitness...

    England A- Chris Thorman

If he is coached well he could become a decent NRL player..this year IMO will be a jumpstart to improving his game. Raz - but Good luck to Eels too and thanks for Solomona..in the SL he should be a top forward as the SL is played at a marginally slower pace than NRL.

    England A- Chris Thorman

Don't get me wrong Thorman is not bad but my opinion is he is not ready and it is only my opinion and i could be wrong. nobody knows till next year but he is a decent goal kicker looking at his stats. Raz

    Best Super League Player?

Reardon....Overrated IMO. The two stars of the future MGUIRE AND ROONEY. just look at Rooneys stats. 1st year pro rugby played half a year. Apps = 16(2) Try = 10 Goals = 64 DG = 4. That is Mr Rooney from Wakefield and we look forward to seeing him play a full season on the back of...

    Solomona's Contract

I have that Game and he is pretty good on it. Looking forward to seeing him in action alongside Michael Korkidas our rampaging Prop from Sydeny Roosters (2002) and Dallas Hood and Gareth Ellis who may play second row this year like he did for GB. Raz - How big is solo?? and is he a second...

    England A- Chris Thorman

Alot of players don't make the SL grade in eng..we are behind NRL in the pace the game is played at. Watching the NRL it is faster paced whereas SL is not as fast paced. Make no mistake though the SL is improving in quality year upon year. Many players who can't hack it are sent to the...

    joel caine

I remember the 2002 close season when trinity signed Ben Jeffries. I am a trinity fan and we got some good opinions and some bad..most saying he is inconsistant. When BJ played at SO he was sometimes good sometimes bad BUT we moved him to Scrum half and jeez he has come good..he now runs...

    Solomona's Contract

Solomona will be in england either today or the next few days and everybody cannot wait to see him play on the 30th of jan... Can't wait to see him out on the field vs Leeds..with our other buys Semi Tadulala, Sid Domic and Justin Ryder. Raz

    England A- Chris Thorman

Jamie Rooney + Danny Mguire are Definitely the Future halfbacks of Britain! I am a wakefield fan and these two players are class above. Rooney in his FIRST proffessional season made 16 Apps + 10 Try + 64 goal + 4 dg. He is a star on the pitch and runs things all over. This season after...

    semi tadulala

To be honest he made no mistake with the ball in hand and is a strong runner indeed... He will do well for Trinity in 2004..unsure about our other winger Justin Ryder but we heard he is quick on his feet. Raz

    Best Super League Player?

Jamie Rooney for me..star of 2004 :) . Made 16 apps (10 try + 64 goal + 4 D.goals). Made the Eng team after 16 games!!! he will be lining up for GB soon and unlike Thorman can tackle well. And thats his first season Pro...can't wait to see him next year after close season training and...

Wakefield got their first look at Tadulala play in the first freindly for Trinity vs Featherstone. Tadulala is quite a big guy aint he for a winger. Anyways he has already made a partnership with Sid Domic who is a classy centre to say the least. Domic carved fev apart (scored a try...
