    England v France

I was quite impressed they were disciplined and with full time fitness a few of them will do well in Superleague.

    England,Ireland,Scotland and Wales

I seem to remember an announcement a year or so ago that they were going as seperate nations. With the World Cup(alledgedly)happening in just over two years and the nations(apparently)competing as four different nations,if this is the case shouldn't they be competing seperately now? England...

    Lebanon RL

Does anyone know how big sport in general is in Lebanon? I was trying to find out and came across this the home stadium of Nejmeh Lebanon's most successful soccer team it's hardly Old Trafford and only three years ago they played on sand!

    Wales New League Jumper

What are they changing their logo to? And if we already know they're changing it,why buy a jersey that will be out of date in a year? I heard that the GB kit was being changed for next years tri-nations,it's a bit money grabbing of Puma and the RFL isn't it?

Should the Kangaroos Jersey be updated?

Slightly going off track, what about having the chevrons gold (I know we call it gold now but let's face it it's yellow)with a special ARL 100 years badge for the centenary/world cup year? It would keep tradition but have an extra sense of grandour for a special year.

    How many tickets sold?

 OK now I understand you quoted my entire post to make a completely unrelated comment about it........I actually agree with you the most important thing is getting along to the game to support rugby league I also went in 1999 and 2000 games which according to you didn't happen.

    How many tickets sold?

No I didn't if you had actually bothered to read what I wrote it was that they said they couldn't be held next door to each other on the same complex due to crowd congestion not because of two sporting events happening on the same day in the same city. Stadium Australia...

    How many tickets sold?

Then why did you quote my post when you were talking about a completely different issue? :?

    How many tickets sold?

The cricket prevented the use of SFS I didn't say anything about it affecting Telstra.

    How many tickets sold?

But that makes sense what are you thinking? This is international rugby league we're talking about.;-)
  16. E

    How many tickets sold?

Because of crowd congestion issues with cricket next door on the same day and the deal that Telstra offered. I think it'll be 35k+ and if it's a competitive game with better planning for next years Tri-nations there is the potential for a sold out SFS and if Brisbane and Newcastle can back up...

    How many tickets sold?

 If they say that then attract a lot more they can say it is a huge success beyond their expectations. If the info on here is correct they had sold around that mark when it was written.

    World Club Challenge ?

If it is Leeds v Wests then it will probably produce a 40,000 sell out at Elland road.Bradford or Saints 25,000 at Galpharm or Reebok. It is an ego booster for the ESL as the NRL teams treat it as a nothing warm up game, but it produces the biggest gates outside of the two major finals and...

    Toulouse V Leeds

It's a shame, it's a catch 22 situation, the fact that it's live on national tv is great for the game but that also means fewer people attend which looks bad.
