    Advise on AFL Position

:) I saw my old post and wanted to do an update of my situation... I actually started getting in shape and going to gym and things like that, so now i only weigh 94 kg anymore, i started playing gridiron and to say the least my explosivity skyrocketed, i have some official numbers now too...

Like I said before football is the most violent ballgame in the world, it's in spirit the closest thing to the old harpaston. Talking about injuries: if you wanna see the brutality of football look up the vid of willis mcgahee in college football, i have never seen such injuries in other sports...

    NRL vs NFL debate

Of course I can: -NRL has no def/off squads -NFL Linesmen have no need for ball handling skills(unlike NRL forwards) so it's quite understandable they dont develop something they dont need If you would compare the level of skill in both leagues than the nfl is far superior since the nfl...

It's a nice article to read because it shows the differences between the two codes , I do love rugby league but american football as well so it's kind of silly of either side to laugh at the other game: Some things aren't even debatable according to me and I will stae them here All-round...

David "Deacon" Jones: No. We're not necessarily the best athletes. We're the toughest athletes, the most brutal and violent athletes. But when you get into technique and all that stuff, I'd say golfers are the best athletes. Here's the link...

and have some pies because you too can be in the NFL, all you need is a whole lot of pies, and by preference grease pies:lol:

Well i got to admit the fat doesnt affect them much in nfl since its about explosive runs and short dashes(it maybe even affects this in a positive way), but their weight certainly takes their stamina down, what they would in nrl so they are just not suited for nrl in their current bodyshape

Not a lot of linesmen follow that regime i believe, they like to compete more in good old pie-eating contests OR maybe we're all wrong and those linesmen on the pics were wearing 20 cm thick padding all over their bodies which would make them even wussier

In every football code a player must be able to defend as well as attack, in a more all round game he would be sh*t

You said it was all about skill some posts earlier  , this proves that when you dont have strength or size you wont cut it, hence size and strength are far more important in nfl than even remote skill

Football is the most popular sport in the us, college football receives a lot of coverage

The main discussion is ridiculous hence me giving ridiculous answers... The guy who started this just wants league fans to give detailed views of why nrl is better so he can make fun of them afrterwards, so i have given him some of his own medicine,

enough to know u dont have to have lt/giant size to be a good linebacker, in the nfl it's all about size size>>skill

I probably know more than a thing or 2 about American Football since I've been playing outside linebacker in a city team for 2 years now, you make the mistake by saying NFL=Gridiron which is not true: when its draft time in the nfl scouting only looks at the draft camp stats, an rb with a 4.35...

Why? those were quite clear points i made... perhaps not for the moderate nfl player or for you... but then again : who gives a flying f*ck about those two groups of the world population

    NRL vs NFL debate

I don't live in the land of "Oz" But the slogan "nfl=sh*t" is quite universal American football has gone downwards ever since the unlimited substitute rule was invented, pre - 1938 it was probably quite enjoyable with fg's and drop kicks more important ways to score+several players being...

NFL players can't drink NFL players live in one dimension, since they only run forward NFL players can't duck since their touchdowns involve no touching down NFL players play gridiron because they cant play baseball or basketball NFL players should better lose their arms in order to be...
