    Expected crowds for the tournament

Over 6,000 sold for each of the games in Workington (Scotland v Tonga, Scotland v Italy). Sorry can't provide link as I don't have enough posts, but it's on newsandstar.co.uk

    Matchday query

Cheers, I was looking on Greyhound and Murray Travel but hadn't noticed the 7.30 service on Greyhound when I first looked - so we're booked on that and as you say will have plenty of time to make it back.

Hello folks, I'm coming from the UK for a couple of weeks around Easter mainly to watch NRL games and I'm looking to attend your game against Wests on 4 April. We'll be based in Sydney and I'm looking at travelling to Canberra and back on the day by coach. What I need to know are the options...

I was at the second test in that series, we were expecting GB to clinch the series. :(

    Murrayfield Magic

Agree. Also it should be recognised that the Millenium weekend was heavily subsidised by the Welsh tourist board to bring punters into Cardiff for the weekend, so maybe they weren't willing to continue supporting it at the same level.

Where do they get their money?

Nail on the head there - the average wage in the Super League is probably not fantastic but the bigger clubs will always be able to put together a package (salary, accommodation, sponsored car and other promotional stuff) which would be attractive to most NRL players and almost irresistable to...

    Does anyone remember....

The 1987 game wasn't shown on UK TV at the time - months later (in early 1988 I think) the highlights were shown on the Sunday night Scrumdown show which went out only in the main RL-supporting regions on ITV - and even then they only showed it to fill a gap because it was a Challenge Cup...
