    TOP 14 Crowds 2010-2011

Have the other leagues (Magners and Aviva) started yet? and if so do you have their attendences?

    2010 Crowd Watch

I dont think that would be financially viable, every decade or so clubs with government financial support have to invest tens of millions of dollars into their stadiums, for just 4 games a year i dont think this would be sensible. I think this is why Melbourne has so much better sporting...

Central Coast Bears - Stand Aside

Well this latest crisis has convinced me that the CC Bears are probably the team best placed for expansion. Even though I'm from Adelaide I realise that there is probably no financially sound way to put a team here (unless we had massive financial backing like the AFL is doing in Western Sydney...

Rugby should clean up in Storm aftermath

Neither is the NRL in Melbourne (unless you feel like staying awake til midnight)

Rugby should clean up in Storm aftermath

Rugby League is its worst own enemy. The Super League crisis and now this, its as if we want to help rugby. Union only got popular in 2003 because of the aftershock of the super league crisis where fans were disillusioned with the game with teams collapsing everywhere. Then when we finally...

    International growth

Do you think it will work and be financially viable? Why would an Eastern European or American city want to host a sport that the vast majority of its population hasn't even heard of (it would be like the Canadian Football League playing a game in Australia)? Dubai already host the Rugby Union...

    Russia

I think league would have more success if we just wait for IRB to poor money into the country and get Union to become a popular sport in Russia, then we follow. League doesnt have the funds to become more than a very very small niche market in Russia. Once Union has established itself, the entry...

    Russia

I think the problem is we can't afford to keep them compared to the dollars the IRB and now the russian olympic body is throwing at union in the country.

What is the average crowd at titans games?

Will the prices be similar for the new soccer team? Who makes the price for tickets?

Would an NRL owned stadium work in Sydney?

For Western Sydney, Parramatta stadium should be increased by 5-10k and be home to more of the western teams. Parramatta is becoming the second CBD of Sydney. The only problem is that it is the home of the Eels.

    Blackout Rugby

There are too many bot teams and after setting a winning line-up once you dont really need to change it unless theres an injury.

Promotion of upcoming NRL match in Adelaide!

They had TV ads during the NRL games last weekend (the games are played on Saturday Morning 12am to 4am and Monday morning 12am to 2am). I wont be able to make it to the game, i'll be flying to Brisbane at the time.

Japan a threat to rugby, not NRL: Searle

Lol, The European Super League is a greater threat to the NRL than Japanese Rugby Union is to the Super 14. Playing for your country is worth a lot more (to most players) than these Northern Hemisphere competitions will pay for them. The french and japanese leagues will be places for union...

    League vs Union Hybrid Match

Well the hybrid rules wanted to get rid of lifting in lineouts, the lineouts are the only part of the union game that i think is better than league, and getting rid of the lifting would just ruin it.

TV Ratings for the World Cup

Adelaide got nearly double the viewers of Perth. Great to see, hopefully those 35k will get out to the games next season.

    RLIF reconsidering QNs

Do France really deserve a place? I'd much rather see PNG (who have the talent but need more international games to improve) in there than France, whom im not to sure have the talent.

2 more games for Adelaide likely

    Southern Sharks

Partial relocation with 6 games in cronulla and 6 games in adelaide? Might as well merge St George and Cronulla, get them to play 12 games at OKI, then create another team to play 6 games in Woolongong and 6 games in Adelaide. Makes more sense doesn't it?

Can RL survive in the West for 10 more years?

Gallop has said that in numerous interviews. RL will survive, but with a slow but sure decrease over time. Its hard to follow a sport that gets little/no coverage in the media. While we laugh at Union in Australia in this forum, they may possibly be doing better than league in the non-heartland...

Games in expansion areas in 2009

Unbelievable news for Adelaide, been waiting to watch some real football down here for years, and now we have a game against my team (Cowboys)
