    I dont think that would be financially viable, every decade or so clubs with government financial support have to invest tens of millions of dollars into their stadiums, for just 4 games a year i dont think this would be sensible. I think this is why Melbourne has so much better sporting...

    Would an NRL owned stadium work in Sydney?

    For Western Sydney, Parramatta stadium should be increased by 5-10k and be home to more of the western teams. Parramatta is becoming the second CBD of Sydney. The only problem is that it is the home of the Eels.

    Promotion of upcoming NRL match in Adelaide!

    They had TV ads during the NRL games last weekend (the games are played on Saturday Morning 12am to 4am and Monday morning 12am to 2am). I wont be able to make it to the game, i'll be flying to Brisbane at the time.

    Lol, The European Super League is a greater threat to the NRL than Japanese Rugby Union is to the Super 14. Playing for your country is worth a lot more (to most players) than these Northern Hemisphere competitions will pay for them. The french and japanese leagues will be places for union...

    Well the hybrid rules wanted to get rid of lifting in lineouts, the lineouts are the only part of the union game that i think is better than league, and getting rid of the lifting would just ruin it.

    Partial relocation with 6 games in cronulla and 6 games in adelaide? Might as well merge St George and Cronulla, get them to play 12 games at OKI, then create another team to play 6 games in Woolongong and 6 games in Adelaide. Makes more sense doesn't it?

    Can RL survive in the West for 10 more years?

    Gallop has said that in numerous interviews. RL will survive, but with a slow but sure decrease over time. Its hard to follow a sport that gets little/no coverage in the media. While we laugh at Union in Australia in this forum, they may possibly be doing better than league in the non-heartland...
