The first half is like a repeat of the Round 1, 2004 where the Dogs led 26-0 at the break. Except back then it was half expected. This time Eels are favourites.

Tongue in cheek, princess. The Eels just tend to fall to pieces when they're hot hot favourites... there's no denying it. Chin up. ;-)
Considering the number of people who said we would lose today, how could we be hot favourites? ;-)

I wouldn't be too concerned by what happens in the opening game of the season - it's no guide whatsoever.

If it is, we're watching the wooden spooners as we speak!

f**k Tsoulos is a fat sh*t.

long way to go in the season yet

I know. But I'm not sure what to think of the Bulldogs, big trial win against us and now carving up Parramatta. Maybe losing cat Mason is a good thing for them.

Has Parra even completed a set yet? I can't believe how many errors.

It's like watching Under 7s!

The way we're playing, a park side could beat us today, so I wouldn't call it much of a guide :D

Parra are playing woeful at the moment, but they generally are slow starters to a season, compared to how they finish.

Bulldogs aren't really playing that great, but are doing enough to take advantage of the garbage parra are producing.

Parra for some reason have a habit of putting in stinkers once in a while but then at other times they go on big winning streaks. I think its characteristic of Michael Hagan coached teams.

good half, we defended our line well when we needed to and utilised our opportunities. Considering how terrible the Eels have been, i wont look into it to much, although it is a good sign for the dogs. Kane Cleal looked pretty good of the bench, added a bit of spark in his runs.
