shocking first 40 from the eels, havent seen them look this bad in years.

Last year against Canberra in Canberra and Newcastle in Parra they were pretty awful as well. Just a case of not turning up, not like they lack talent - except they are missing Hayne.

wow, how good are we in some respects and how bad are the eels going? Far out! And we haven't even put sully on yet... This could turn ugly if parra don't aim up in the next 40... GO DOGS! :D

why aren't they playing this at parramatta stadium? Would have been a much better atmosphere, 15,000 people inside an 80,000 seat stadium is stupid.

Parra for some reason have a habit of putting in stinkers once in a while but then at other times they go on big winning streaks. I think its characteristic of Michael Hagan coached teams.

The main characteristic is however getting progressively crapper as the years go on.

Yeah and as I said, Reddy is a woeful player.

Tautai has tried hard but it's been a tough initiation for him.

Sonny Bill looks exceptional early on by the way.

Disappointed with the Parra forwards early on too but hey, it's game one - nobody cares. It's a long season.

Yeah, I think the Raiders scored on their first 4 sets and it was 22-0 after 10 minutes... and we still hadn't had the ball! :x

So you missed the entire 2007 season did you?

As the years went on at Newcastle, Hagan took a very strong squad assembled by the Warren Ryan and turned it into a basket case dominated by two players.

what's wrong Parra, little hangover from your trips to the Cross or is it from your trip to the Dome?
