You honestly thought Thurston was great? In all honesty i thought he'd have a much bigger impact on the game than what he did and didn't really stand out much at all. Considering the penalty count was as lopsided as it was and the field position you got on the back of that then he really should have capitalized and made us pay but he just didn't. I thought he was just ok at best and wasn't in my top 3 vote getters.

Cronk is unfortunate, but i'm a realist and he was never going to get the number 7 back for the Australian team which is fair enough. He was only there because he was the best available option at the time even though it was deserved all the same. A fit Thurston was always going to get it back but again i think Prince should be the first one picked. It won't happen but that doesn't mean it shouldn't happen.

Agree...Thurston was nothing special. Not that dangerous and his kicking game was not outstanding.

IMO he is a tad overated and Prince has more natural skill and is a little more polished in his set plays.

Thurston tends to throw the long miracle pass which can lead to intercepts.

Well I was meaning his defensive effort more than anything.
As a fan I'm impressed with the whole team and their defensive efforts.

I only watched about half the game though and had to go out - Looks like I missed an interesting night on LU though LOL.

I think Thurston was great because he was not only attacking but his defensive effort was good as well.
He deserves his spot on the Aussie side.

Disappointed that we didn't come away with a win - We could have done it with the chances we got.
However,I'm happy with that scoreline and our defensive efforts.

Cronk is just unfortunate,he's a solid player day in and day out but I guess he's the unmentioned hero.

Good, no great, effort by the boys. Had no right to win that game. Cowboys may have dropped a fair bit of ball but alot of them were forced errors rather then unforced to use some tennis terminology.

-Coopers short kicking game again was sh*te, could have cost us the game with that woeful grubber at the end.

-Mick Crocker had his "worst" game I can remember as a Storm player, didnt look as effective starting the game.

-Is there a bigger pair of 115kg creampuffs going around at the moment then Kaufusi and White. Both have excuses, but fair dinkum, play to your size boys. At least Antonio hurts in defence.

I've been saying it for a while White is soft, he gets put on his back all the time. Kaufusi not so much but he certainly is nowhere near he's best.
