i first thought that Broncs would win

whether the assault allegations would've rattled the club idk

but imo the Storm are too good a side to lose anotehr finals game

imo Bellamy and the players looked too relaxed at the last game

When word of the Broncos misdemeanours filtered through to the Storm, Bellamy immediatey stopped the footage of the Broncos game they were watching and threw a Bukakke video on so as to prepare the his players for what they faced.

Was that before or after the WWF videos?

my heart says Brisbane
my head says Melbourne
my wallet says Melbourne

massive game ...

if there is one good thing about all the drama this week, its that it happened early in the week and I'm starting to think it won't count for crap come Saturday night

the winner here will beat the Sharks easily and will start fav's vs Manly ... can it get any bigger ?

Id love to see Melbourne lose for manlys sake but unfortunately they are still the best team in the nrl and they should win this. My best scenario is for broncos to win then have their trio sacked for the toilet incident then manly will play the easy sharks in the grandfinal loool

I doubt people realise that when Melbourne have been at full strength with their origin stars the most they've lost by is 4 points this year.

If Melbourne score 20 points they will almost certainly win, as they very rarely concede any more than 18 points. Conceding 18 points last week v the warriors was one of the storm's worst defensive displays, which shows you how high their standards are.

The Broncos will have to be at their best to win. They have the players and the experience in big games to pull off a great performance and knock the storm out, but the controversy surrounding them could either help or hinder their preparation. If they adopt a siege mentality it could mean they'll ambush the Storm, but I think the Storm will respond to last week's loss.

They aren't at full strength though, 3 of their key forwards are playing injured

I reckon Bellamy might start the likes of Blair and Manu who are a bit lighter and faster and obviously fit.

This will take the sting out of the game and then he may bring on Lima and Hoffman if he plays when the game is in a rhythym..here's hoping anyway.

Gawd. You don't want to be facing the Storm in sudden death at the best of times, but you REALLY don't want to be squaring off with them after they've suffered a shock loss and you REALLY, REALLY don't want to be squaring off with them after a solid week of off-field sh*te clogging up the headlines. FFS!

One thing is certain, the crowd will be amazing and it'll be a fantastic night out. You can't buy two seats together in the crowd now, and most of it is already sold out. Well done to all Broncos/Storm/neutral fans for packing out LP for this one. I can't wait!

Would love to see my boys getting over the line and I'll be screaming myself hoarse to get them there. Unfortunately, though, my head is telling me that we'll fall just short. Regardless, I'm extremely proud of the efforts shown all year...

We can win it, I just don't *think* we will at this stage. You have to frustrate Melbourne and pressure them, dominate the PTB and assign specific people with the job of shutting down Inglis (see the 2006 GF for pointers). If we do this, we will go a long way to getting the chocolates, but we have to do it damn well.

Storm by 7, but I hope I'm proven wrong.

This is a tough one, I am going to take the Storm - but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if this week has fired up the Broncos and they send the Storm packing.

I think the Storm will take it in a close one. I can't wait for the match, I reckon it'll be a ripper.
