Wonder if the ferals in the crowd will decide to bash opposition supporters like last week?
It was the other way around, but dont let me (or anyone else) stop your anti Newcastle rants

You're a dickhead skeepe, how can you say with any qualification whose fans were responsible for last week's incident?

Warriors were outplayed up front imo. Our backrow is just too pedestrian, and Packer and Rapira didn't play as well as last week. Matulino turned the tide a little when he came off the bench imo.

Our attack is horribly pedestrian and tbh apart from that last error which will stick in the memory I think Fien played quite well. Still not sold on the return of Jones.

Hard to say much about the backs because we just don't use the ball. Interesting to see Patrick Ah Van trying to get involved, coming to the middle of the field and playmaking in the last 15 minutes or so.

Not much positive to say I guess, the biggest positive is we nearly had a good win away from home despite all that.

I'm assuming Ah Van was playing fullback with McKinnon off at the end?

Can't believe Kurt Gidley wasn't sin binned. Disgraceful piece of refereeing. You have David Milne and Jeremy Smith sent to the sin bin for non-events, and yet Kurt Gidley in this game, and David Kidwell in the Souths-Warriors game both remain on the field for blatant professional fouls. Is there a lottery agent near Energy Australia Stadium?? Kurt should get down there, pronto. Don't let this vain of unbelievably good luck go without cashing in IMO.

Agree...that was really blatant. Gidley was bloody lucky.

I thought Packer and Rapira were solid- particularly Packer

Fien played pretty well.

Jones played crap

I know Packer scored a try, but I didn't think either of them really had much impact. Lots of 5 metre hit-ups and struggling to get over the advantage line. Work rates were decent but they were well contained.

It involved Newcastle fans, so I'd imagine it was pretty obvious who was at fault. The most abhorrent fanbase in the league.

I just can't work out how he couldn't have been in the bin. Worse, Lyons blows time off, holds up play, stops momentum, calls him over for what can only be a trip up the tunnel and then gives him a friendly chat to. Woeful. What say you now, Robert Finch??? Nothing as per usual, except to back them up and say they did a wonderful job and technically it wasn't a sin bin because Kurt's left sock was above ankle height as per rule 44.8 clause 6g of Da Finchy Code.

The try was highly likely, but not absolutely certain

I'm interested as to how it wasn't certain

Kemp actually did catch the ball, therefore you could argue that his catching the ball was certain

imo it was certain that Kemp was going to score as long as he caught the ball as Gidley was a dead duck in the foot race, hence the interference

Most likely, yes, but surely there is no argument for Kidley NOT being sin-binned.

That was the worst call of the lot.

To put it into perspective, Talanoa was awarded a penalty try and Kirk not sin-binned. Not so long ago, Ah Van was sin-binned and Ty Williams not awarded a try. Today we got neither.

if the warriors goal kicker gets that sitter you have a different game.Late in the game instead of trying to score they work it into the center for the field goal..That was the game killer

No doubt. That was a horrific kick. But it would have been easier to go through them without the geek at the back.

Who knows, we could have won if Kids got sin-binned, we got a couple more sets when down by 2.

Whilst I gotta give credit to Souths last week, we should/would have won if we had a bit more penetration in attack. We had enough ball.

Today, Knights scored some really soft tries and outscored us in tries, so I guess they deserve to win. But that non-call late was a shocker.

Haven't heard anybody claim he shouldn't have been sin binned so far

IMO the Warriors would have won this if Kidley had have been binned..they had the momentum and normally beat sides when they have the momentum.
