well i reckon that was a great game of footy. kudos to parra, they're going to be hard to stop again this year. We showed a lot of guts but we're going to have to show a bit more imagination with the ball in crucial areas of the field. Ennis in particular takes some horrible options and poor execution (don't get me wrong, I love having ennis in the team).

I think a lot of what parra created was because of
1) our inability to lock the ball up
2) when the offload came, our defence was a shambles. It's not that hard to defend against, you just back off and reorganise. Whenever there was an offload one of our players (ennis was a repeat infringer) would rush up out of the line and make it easy.

Anyway I enjoyed that despite the result, it's nice to see the players putting in some great effort unlike earlier in the year.

I wouldn't agree with that. Tahu's catch and pass was just a freak piece of play. He didn't make Idris look ordinary at all.

Stood him up a few times tbh, got Burty into some space. Idris did damn good though, I don't rate him but tonight might start to change that

I have to give raps to Idris, he is getting better and better with experience . He is developing well into a fantastic player , definately had Tahu beaten everywhere Tonight which is no mean feat . A real handful to stop and is a great defender these days . Very exciting player .

Idris has improved dramatically since the start of the year, if fed better ball tonight i think he would have been even more damaging, seeing as though most of his runs came out of nothing. He is still so young, imagine in a few years time when he reaches his physical peak, how daunting would he be then.

his debut year and the games he had in 2008 i thought he was amazing. the start of this year i was disappointed because he just didnt seem playing to what he probably could but tonight staged a battle with tahu, and despite the loss i think he won on points decision

idris has played centres the past few weeks either eqaul or better his skill/calibre and has done very weel against them, and will be the better for it. didnt like his high five thing to tahu but thats just me thats a bit of cheek but hey whatever. tahu will be on his game next time
