Another brick in the wall (part 2) - Pink Floyd

Their only hit single. ;-)

Actually Pink Floyd had a hit in the 60's with 'See Emily play' and 'Learning to fly' in the late 80's

Video Killed the Radio Star - The Buggles

And both of the Buggles went on to be in Yes. Trevor Horne replaced Jon Anderson as the vocalist for a live tour. Horne actually wrote 'owner of a lonely heart'.

I am not sure of the name of the band, they are little Russians that do a lesbian thing. Trevor Horne wrote their stuff as well as producing it. Ghastly.

They had this other show - not sure if you guys saw it there - that was on VH1 called "Bands Reunited".

They would find all the members of bands who had some sort of bitter break up in the 80's and get them to come together again for 1 more concert.

Berlin was AMAZING!!! It was hard to believe they had ever NOT been together.

*I know...I know... "Who's Berlin?"...(sigh) I'm old!*

You take my breath awaaaaaayyyy do do do .... do do do

I love a Rainy Night - Eddie Rabbit

LOL @ Roger V. Hrundi, did you have to go to google to find out how to spell his name. I remember that clip with the red jumper and the fan blowing his hair all over the place. What about when he sang "get used to it, I'll be around". No, no you won't Rog.

OMC - How Bizzarre

I can't believe anyone hasn't mentioned that one yet, it was huge but the band broke up soon after after Paully Fuemana (the singer)'s ego got the better of him.

It's a great song and a favourite covers band of mine "Shaggin Wagon" used to play a great version of it.

Not to mention my mate has the album it's on and it used to get a run every once in a while.

that a+ guy form around 97 or 98

Haha, but hey come on it was a good song! Better than Thickes retake on it! :p

oh dear

For starters, A+ had a 3 or 4 year run from about 95-98 as a child rap "star". I wouldn't really call him a one hit wonder, if only because even "Enjoy yourself" wasn't a particularly big hit. And secondly, his song was also a remake of a 70s disco track, which happened to be a remake in itself of, ermmmm, Beethoven? (one of those guys :p ). And as pop rap by 16 year olds goes, it was pretty hot, I don't give a P-H-U-K what you say.

Whatever band sung Teenage Dirtbag, they had another song but it was no-where near as popular as the first, and then they crashed and burned
