Hayne was much more involved tonight, but crumbled under pressure with the game on the line IMO.

Oh yeah, he was a crumbled mess when charging down that match winning field goal attempt with 20 seconds to go

Cant remember him touching the ball except for standing 20m behind the play to kick in the final 15 minutes of play.

Parra's halves were shithouse as well but I expect more from Soward (and hornby really) when they actually dominated field position for all of golden point.

I think thats a fair call and all he really did was kick at a decent standard into the corner. What amazed me was the Dragons were almost trying to clear it out like a RU game. Fein was the biggest clown in that game though.

Offside or not (what team ISN'T in those situations?) he was still hardly crumbling under pressure considering he came up with the match saving play with no time left on the clock

Had the refs found the whistle buries in their pockets everytime we touched it, that game saver would have been the game winner. just sayin

f**k me dead

some poor refing tonight and whats even worse we had the game in the bag but lost our composure big time

I think both teams can be proud it was a tough game

tbh I'm proud of my boys that they held out parra from getting in range of a FG when it ounted, our defence stepped up big time but we did some dopey things in attack late in the 2nd.

like I said earlier, we needed to start the half with some 2nd phase play and they did that very well, bennet knew exactly what was needed but at the end of the game we made some poor decisions.

Im not saying we were robbed, we definitely didn't deserve to win that game, but the hayne wankfest never ceases to amaze me

hayne probably lost his head abit at the end imo, but then again pretty much everyone on the park did so meh... sure he got close on that huge kick, but the smart option would have been to pin the dragons in the corner and try and give himself the oppertunity to have a crack from 30-40 out next set of 6
instead he went for the glory and a great attempt at it too and next set of six, he was kicking from the halfway line again.
Hayne played well, but i do think he needs to be a bit smarter with his play. Soward was very smart, he just continually screwed the pooch when it counted
