Braith actually commented in the press conference that the ref apologised later for calling the knock on to Mini and that they should of got someone else to play the ball since he was obviously semi-conscious. Not complaining but I reckon if that's the rule then it's the right one and should be policed that way from now on.

LOL....So Mini gets tackled, gets up playing the ball side ways...losing it in the process...and instead of the Warriors getting a penalty its called a lost ball...and the refs should have said oh no...stop, stop...lets go back and get one of your team mates to play it for you.

Watching the replay again. There is absolutely no contact with with Mini's head and he gets dazed from his head hitting the ground.
Definitely should of been a penalty for playing the ball sideways.

Dunno why Braith and the coach and complaining so bitterly, Poor losers I guess

That was just unlucky, Mini should have stayed down and the ref would have stopped play. Obviously he didn't wanna lose any time so tried to play it. Can't call the play back once an injured (not due to foul play) player decides to play on.

Clifford's alright... if you like chicks with long loose socket and wrench sets dangling out from under a mini-skirt.

Thats how you pronounce it...

Ukuma - OO-Que-Mar
Ta'ai - Tar-Eye

Feleti - Fair-Let-E
Mateo - Mar-Teh-Orr

Matulino -Mar-Two-Lean-Orr

Why do Mateo and Ben Te'o and up as Martel and Te'el/Teal then? Curious, I wish I knew more.

And I don't think anyone's complaining about how they say the names, more that it changes around a bit over the course of the game. Maybe each of the several different versions of Ukuma Ta'ai are legitimate, but to the uneducated ear it just sounds like he's taking the piss.

I despise the Roosters, but my god they were ripped off. Worse refereeing performance I've seen, Warriors were never going to lose with all the help the refs gave them, funny thing is i like the Warriors, but that was just wrong.

I know how its pronounced. Dale invents his own exaggerated pronunciations, where does 'Martel' come from?

Agree...they are pronouncing it correctly but they do overdo it sometimes.

Actually mini got knocked out from the mother of all head clashes with lillyman.

Completely legit, accidental contact so just really unlucky for us. Main problem was he was sold an absolute hospital pass by Pearce (who panicked like a deer in headlights the last 10 mins of this game).

Was a great game of footy, almost ruined by Lyon blowing ridiculous penalty after ridiculous penalty, both ways. When 2 big forward packs are trying to go toe to toe each set like they were last night, refs should let them set their own tempo for the game rather than try and artificially influence it FFS.

Only true howler was Lyon completely ignoring his touchie who kept saying "Roosters ball" after Maloney knocked on Anastas kick in the final 10 mins. How he came up with that I do not know. The scrum penalty at the end was as far as I could tell for nothing, but match was well over at that stage.

The 2 U20s superstars in Hurrell and Moga played well too. Hurrell was about MoM and just unstoppable, while Moga I think will be the same with a few more games under his belt. Great futures ahead for both of them.

Warriors and roosters will beat plenty of teams if they like they did last night for the rest of the year.

Roosters forwards have been the surprise packet of the year so far for mine. No real big names but they've been able to foot it with just about every other pack in the comp. I thought Warriors pack would give it to them last night but the Roosters forwards held their own again.
