This should be a good one. Manly is our bogey team although we have beaten them twice this season so who knows. Either way there will be less than 12 points in it IMO.

Your right - I dont give a shit who you tip - however if your attitude dictates that you dont care what people think of your tip then why post it? Why be on a public league forum at all, if your opinion should be no body elses business?

Btw - you NEVER tip Manly - we dont need turds like you as supporters. Also wtf is 2011 grand finalists - all true Manly fans have 2011 PREMIERS you half wit - stop pretending to be an Eagle.

I could ask you the same thing. I'm sure even less people on here care about anything you have to contribute.
And BTW I tip Manly plenty of times but because I don't think they'll beat the Roosters is not a reflection on how passionate a supporter I am it's just an honest opinion.
Anyway I shouldn't need to explain myself to a moron like you.

Lol manly fans keep deluding themselves that the second game was close, the only thing keeping them in the game was Boyd Cordner kicking for goal. It would have been 26-6 before Rose's try off a 5 metre forward pass had Maloney played.
This.

We totally dominated that game and it was only some hilarious goal kicking and as you said a try off a 5m forward pass that stopped it from being a rout.

We have Manly's measure and if we play at our best I can see a 3 try win.

Finals experience is also a weak argument IMO.

Where was the benefit of finals experience when Manly put in the worst Preliminary Finals performance in history last year?

They're a quality, tough as nails team ... but this season has shown that the top two clearly have their measure.

We got the better of them on both occasions but they could use that to fire up against us this time around. If JWH plays I like our chances though.

Sydney by 10. I think they've got too much class and will be high in confidence after making such an easy go of claiming the minor premiership in front of a huge crowd.

The other two games this year are irrelevant now. The finals is about preparation, mental toughness and determination. Who ever goes the extra yard will win.

I think we will get them but it'll be tough.

Agreed, that was a comprehensive win.

Although, Roosters fans who think the prior two wins prove anything other than that the Roosters are a quality side are deluding themselves as well. Manly are a different team now than they were when they met on the previous two occasions.

This should be tight. Manly by 4.

The Roosters are deserved favorites but Manly at full strength are a formidable opponent. Should be a great game.

As above.

Roosters are favourites for a good reason, but this Manly side is too good to dismiss out of hand. I'm happy with a result that puts us on the opposite side of the draw to Melbourne.

Roosters defeated Souths with 4 of their starting players missing. They will start $1.75 favourite, but if they go into this match expecting manly to roll over, they might be in trouble.

They have defeated the eagles twice this year, comfortably, and I believe the winner will be a certain grand finalist.

Manly are a great side, and can't be underestimated. Will be a wonderful match.

Outside the top 4, the cowboys are a threat. The sharks haven't points in them. Newcastle won't match the top 4, whilst the bulldogs will be cannon fodder.

I'm sure the Roosters are sweating on JWH beating that G1 dangerous contact charge. If unsuccessful he misses 1 week.

Could prove the difference whether Easts get over the line or not. He's been massive for us this year and will leave a huge hole in such an important game if found guilty.

Roosters in a close one, will be epic.

Manly are going to be a different kettle of fish now that its the finals. This has proven to be their time over the past 7 seasons.

Having said that I am confident of a win. We dominated them last time, and if our forwards play like they did last week (sans the dropped ball) we'll grind it out.

Don't care by how much, beating them by 1 will be good enough for me.

Shocked JWH was found guilty. Personally didn't think there was much in it since it was a late reaction and not pre meditated and also the fact Pomeroy got off for one worse.

JWH is just like Matai though, always gonna be found guilty no matter what.

Agree, thought he was unlucky to cop a week... Carry over points and past history played a part..

JWH always fires up against the Eagles, he is a major loss for the Chooks..

JWH has been the leader of our pack all season, we missed him during the 5 week ban and we'll miss him again on Saturday.

Luke O'donnell is making a timely return but without Cordner & JWH I think Manly's pack probably just edges ours.

3 tries will be enough to win this game imo, wont be much in it.
