Nice Beaver, sometimes I wish my team would be grubby and play dirty like Manly and Storm and act like Dumb Choc...furious player but dumb as shit....but then I realised.... nah, I would rather follow a team who wins and losses on their own merit without grubby tactics and cheating.
Good luck on Saturday night, Manly should win!

 Yes the virtuous and upstanding Dragons.

As for cheating - there's a fair difference between what you consider grubby tactics and cheating (ask the Storm :p)

And about Choc being as dumb as shit.....ummmm take a look around the Dragons ranks - aint no Mensa students there!! They just can't play footy as well as Choc :D

Anyway, yes I will be enjoying the game and hoping for a win!! Go the Eagles!!

The top four teams this year are the grubbiest teams in the comp who try to bend or break every rule in the game.
The Storm are the masters and discreetly get away with sneaky grubby tactics.
Souths are the dumbest team, grabbing a players nuts while over 3 million people are watching the game live.
But the Chooks and Eagles are blatantly giving away DUMB penalties?.it is like comedy hour!!!

Spoken like a true poor Dragon supporter. Go back under that rock you crawled out from.

Your team are a pathetic joke. Have been a disgrace for 2 years in a row, and apart from one fluky year in 2010, have done jack shit for almost 35 years.

The merged club have been a failure, and this year has been embarrassing. Twice kept scoreless at kogarah, record losses, and a garbage roster.

Bag teams that you finished ahead of. I know there aren't many, but do your best.

If Brett Stewart plays - Manly by 16 - but I am hearing whispers he wont so Easts by 4.

Pip, you can't be serious ? Brett Stewart is not worth 20 points in this match. Manly should start favourites, as the roosters will be without JWH and Cordner, two of the best forwards in the game.

Peter Hiku is a more than handy replacement if Stewart withdraws. The two results this year, which saw the roosters win comfortably, won't count for much. Manly are seasoned, and their forward pack are intact.

Will be a great semi final.

It will be a great semi that is for certain - however I think Stewart is worth that much to Manly. I cant see them winning with Hiku at fullback, he is way too green. The chooks got Manly both times this year as they are an ageing team, and the league cycle turns swiftly. It just seems like yesterday that the Eagles were pulverising the Chooks by 50 each time they played, and low and behold a decade went by of these types of hidings.

Manly without Stewart = no victory. Its time for the Chooks to prove that a wishbone is not permanently stuck in their throats. They cant choke again can they? Surely not.....

Even though Manly are an ageing team, and their bench is very average at best, the roosters can't afford to take them lightly. Yes, they can gain confidence, when they hammered the eagles by 12 points at brookie, and again in a lopsided result at home. The Roosters were well under strength when they beat them 4 tries to 2, and used Boyd Cordner as their goalkicker .

The absence of JWH and Cordner is a massive loss for the roosters. Brett Stewart is nowhere near the player he was. He is pushing 30, and is injury prone. If he doesn't play, Hiku will be a capable replacement.

If JWH and Cordner play, the Roosters win by 20.

The referees don't hate them, they are the worst two ill-disciplined teams who give away penalties like it?s going out of style.
And we are both playing in September despite that. Dragons received the 2nd most penalties and still couldn't make the finals.

Will there be much support for Manly at this game?

The NRL has given them only 3 bays & there are still plenty of tickets available in those bays.

Maybe they are boycotting the double header?

Bit further to travel.

I was surprised that twice as many bays should be allocated to us compared to Manly but maybe it was the right call - or the Manly fans want to sit in all the category A seats ;-)
