Lol manly fans keep deluding themselves that the second game was close, the only thing keeping them in the game was Boyd Cordner kicking for goal. It would have been 26-6 before Rose's try off a 5 metre forward pass had Maloney played.

James Maloney was out, Boyd Cordner was out, Martin Kennedy was out, Moa only played 25 minutes because he got injured, RTS only 40 minutes because he got injured as well & Mortimer only played 7 minutes because he also got injured.

Yet it was still 4 tries to 1 before the late consolation try to Rose.

Manly might be a different side to the one back in Round 16, in fact I have no doubt they are. But I've read all over the place by a lot (not all) of Manly fans who think that it was close because of the end scoreline or that by not having one player they were significantly disadvantaged.

I just hope the game isn't ruined by a penalties. The refs hate both teams and it could be pretty disappointing if the refs decide to put on a Hollywood performance.

Tight game and I can't really pick a winner. JWH is a big loss. But talk is Brett Stewart is still under a fitness cloud.

Depends who they're playing. In fact, Souffs are so disciplined, they can choose which teams to give away penalties against. Against bottom 8 sides, they give away plenty of penalties. Against Manly and the Roosters, they somehow manage to not infringe while their opponents give away plenty of penalties.

Shhh, havent you got the memo? The roosters finished 1st off the back of the worlds easiest draw and had their full team available all year whilst only playing crap or out of form teams.

Anyways, Manly are a very good finals football team and we will need to be switched on the get the chocolates here. I can?t see more than 4-5 tries total in the match

The top four teams this year are the grubbiest teams in the comp who try to bend or break every rule in the game.
The Storm are the masters and discreetly get away with sneaky grubby tactics.
Souths are the dumbest team, grabbing a players nuts while over 3 million people are watching the game live.
But the Chooks and Eagles are blatantly giving away DUMB penalties?.it is like comedy hour!!!

Cant call us soft if weve got the best defensive record this year..we have maubs, lod and tuivasa back so im sure we'll be fine, if not stronger than last week. In saying that, im not confident of a win...but ill pick roosters anyway

Nice Beaver, sometimes I wish my team would be grubby and play dirty like Manly and Storm and act like Dumb Choc...furious player but dumb as shit....but then I realised.... nah, I would rather follow a team who wins and losses on their own merit without grubby tactics and cheating.
