If that was Daley's instructions to Merritt, he totally overplayed it. On 1 of those tries , he came in 14m. Had he stayed where he was, the cover had a chance to get across.

Hate seeing that Merkin Boyd score - & we gifted him 2 tries.

I don't see the point of changes except Merritt gone. Don't want Fergo or Tamou back as their stupid actions caused this poor performance in my opinion.

Maybe I'm a little harsh on Dugan. Still, I think McManus does deserve a start. He's been consistent all year and unlike Dugan hasn't had any f**k ups. I was always against him being picked due to his off field garbage so I am a little bias when it comes to that opinion that he did enough.

Dugan was found wanting time and again with his positioning. Got bumped off easily three times on the goal line because he arrived too late. Good in attack but a fullback needs to do better in defence.

Pretty much the problem with both Dugan and Merritt IMO. These guys would be great with halves who know how to use them in attack. Otherwise NSW might as well keep a totally defensive oriented approach

Boyd had two players covering him regardless of if Merritt shot up, why on Earth did he bump off Dugan so easily?

I predict something along the lines of the 2nd game Suncorp blitz we saw in 2006 and 2008 when QLD were 1 game down with the series on the line, and subsequently dismantled the Blues.

Cronk FTS with some sparkling support play around the middle, before the game opens up and QLD begin to score at will down either side. Blues to be held scoreless or to a late consolation try.

Merritt was bad but Morris was equally stinky. Aaron Woods may well of not played too. Luke Lewis was good. Jennings and B Morris didn't see the ball.

The halves stunk but they had no opportunities. Bring Michael Gordon onto the wing if he's fit and they desperately need Hayne at fullback. Dugan has zero ball playing skills and gets belted.

Jamie Lyon? Seriously?

Every time he's played origin he's been sh#thouse and that's why he retired from rep footy. I just don't get all this Lyon di#k riding. Slow and mentally weak in the big games, hence the retirement.

Not sure what you're referring to here. The wing wasn't covered because the NSW winger left that position and came in field to hold hands with the blokes that were defending there and then left a gaping hole between himself and the sideline for Boyd to walk through.

Other than being an idiot off field Tamou deserves to be in the blues side has always done well at origin level. He and Fifita are huge for us and offer more go forward especially when we put Gal at Front row and miss another big man off the bench.

Merton is a back rower now and deserves being there ahead of Warm rough. I'd be tempted to put Grahnt in for extra go forward
