England agreed to an Aussie referee to.blame him for them.sucking. Refs handed them the game against Samoa last week, they rule correctly on a decision this week and you blame them. Just face it. England are shit and will be the fourth nation on and off in the future. Samoa, NZ and Australia are the top nations now.

Yep only took agent ref to win it, we are miles behind lol.

How many times did Australians lay on the ground feigning injury? Can't blame it on NRL as the kiwis and Samoans don't seem to be made of butter. Must be a genetic East Coast thing.

The evidence you are using to claim the try (conclusively I might add) is the same that you are using to dismiss Inglis grounding the ball.
No it isn't, I'm literally replaying the whole thing on my TV right now and Inglis quite clearly flicks the ball backwards with no downward pressure, even in super slow motion. And again, that is totally irrelevant anyway since the VR even didn't rule on that, he only ruled on the England try which he just didn't give despite it being a clear try. TBH if he'd taken a little more time and not panicked he probably could have tried to claim that Inglis grounded the ball, which would have still been incorrect but at least been more believable than what he came up with.

I'm not even an England fan or all that upset about the result BTW, I'm just sick of Aussies cheating and ruining international RL. Appoint a neutral referee and none of this would have happened.

Yep only needed a bent ref set up to win it, we are miles behind lol.

If a single finger brushing the ball is downward pressure, then 8 fingers forcing the ball is downward pressure. Inglis had more pressure on the ball then Hall did, and most people saying it was a try think he had no downward pressure yet Hall did.

The correct call was made on the try, the restart is the only thing up for debate.

The whole game changed when Ben Hunt entered the fray. Australia had all the momentum.

Really looking forward to next year.

Far out.

This is embarrassing. It was a clear no try for mine. I was surprised when I logged on facebook after work and saw everyone complaining. The only thing that annoyed me in that game was how we weren't awarded 1 penalty in the second half yet the Aussies laid on just as much as we did.

Anyway, that wasn't the reason we lost. We lost because we went totally away from the game plan that saw us take full control in the first half. Instead of playing it in the forwards and gain the territory we needed we started to try to go around them, and as weak as they are, they still are strong across the back 5. Watkins struggled with Jennings and Inglis going at him all afternoon too. He was too passive in defence and it cost us a couple of tries. We really need to learn how to pass right though, because when he did get early ball he looked pretty dangerous. I do think the best team lost, but the Aussie forwards were challenged to come out in the second half and they stood up to it.

We lost, it's football, on to next week where we can still qualify.

And this.

I said this to the Aussies I was watching the game with at the bar I work at. Hunt controlled everything once he came on and england struggled to read what he was going to do next.
