Cracking game of football, glad to get the win without our 2 best players, and I just hope the controversy doesn't overshadow the game.

For the record, I agreed with the Hoppa no try, Lawrence doesn't come in if Brooks isn't taken out.

And if the refs were competent at their job that still would not have been enough.

Fact: If the refs were up to scratch, the Eels win this game no doubt about it
Wrong. If Sandow and Pauli were up to scratch you win that game. Or if Mannah didn't drop it cold in the Eels 40 to give Tigers an easy field goal.

Eels lost this game through their own incompetence.

Fact:

Refs award the Hoppa try and from the kick off sandow throws a forward pass to Paulo who drops it, Simona picks it up and scores under the post

Fact:
Tigers score right before half time after getting a penalty for markers not being square. Replays show markers were perfectly square.

By the way this was the by far the worse decision all game.

f**k sake. Hayne makes Paramatta a 20 point better team. Shut him down you shut down Para

Shut Hayne down. You make it sound like that's an easy thing to do.

Why do fans of teams that cop a lucky decision always feel the urge to carry on like dickheads? I imagine you'd be perfectly magnanimous if the Tigers were on thr receiving end.

Brilliant kicking game? Did he gets a single goal all game?

His IN PLAY kicking game. One 40/20, another couple that were only denied by cruel bounces, repeat sets.. That was all pretty good.

Goalkicking he sucked at, but he's been shit at that for years so I more blame Arthur for continuing to give him the duty

You can whinge and bitch about penalties all night. End of the day you played a team missingtheir 2 best players, 2 starting forwards and lost another guy before 20ms was up, scored 4 tries to 3 and still couldn't win.

As every other parra fan has admitted they should have won and have no one to blame but themselves.

Can not blame the refs at all for the loss, If Parra didnt give the tigers 3 easy tries they would have won...

Agreed.

Parra were responsible for their ineptitude in thinking that this was going to be a walk in the park for them.

It's a sign of an immature team when it thinks that it simply has to turn up and expect the other side to be a pushover.

And yet the Tigers still had to go 60 odd metres to score. It was shit defence by Parra that caused that try not a refereeing call

How am I carrying on like a dickhead? I've admitted many times parra should have won. I believe, as the majority of ppl who aren't parra fans do, that the hopoate try call was correct. This guy says a call that would have LEVELLED the scores in the 67th minute cost parra victory. I'm pointing out how stupid that is.

The no try was a correct call. Look at Lawrence's feet, he is sliding out, when brooks gets taken out he has to come in. If brooks isn't taken out its 3 on 3. The tigers and brooks were denied the opportunity. Tbh with the eye first time I thought obstruction.

But don't worry parra fans, 2 more wins and you've eclipsed the last 2 seasons.

Great crowd, parra probably didn't even need their parra parra tape deck chant.

Did you watch when they had Paulo kicking? They don't have anyone else

Yet we still win if the refs were good at their job.

We can blame our own incompetence all we want. That's fine.

But we win this game, in spite of our incompetence, if the refs were any good at their job.

That is my point.

No team should have to overcome the refs incompetence to win a game.

Some teams are winning games on the back of the refs ineptness ... some are losing because of it.

Tigers had no right to win that game. No attacking weapons at all and totally outplayed. That was a combination of will to win, horrible refereeing and absolute luck. Pat Richards is a dead set lucky charm. NSW should pick him on that alone. Last season here wins a premiership, goes to Wigan and takes them from a dead club to the champions and comes back first season to the Tigers and they're playing like this.

Best game in our colours from Adam Blair. Austin was awesome. Anasta and Rowe can't be there next week.
