The no try was a correct call. Look at Lawrence's feet, he is sliding out, when brooks gets taken out he has to come in. If brooks isn't taken out its 3 on 3. The tigers and brooks were denied the opportunity. Tbh with the eye first time I thought obstruction.

But don't worry parra fans, 2 more wins and you've eclipsed the last 2 seasons.

Great crowd, parra probably didn't even need their parra parra tape deck chant.

Brookes took a dive plain and simple..

I dont disagree with the call but i want consistency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The biggest problem here is the inconsistency, based off a game that was played this weekend the Hoppa try is a try every day of the week, but now it's a no try? If that was Lawrence or Simona getting denied a try there, Tigers fans would be calling it bullshit as well.

The game being called over was stupid as well, the scrum is clearly packed and Ceccin clearly blows time off before the siren goes, yet when it sounds he shits him self and blows full time.

Yet we still win if the refs were good at their job.

We can blame our own incompetence all we want. That's fine.

But we win this game, in spite of our incompetence, if the refs were any good at their job.

That is my point.

No team should have to overcome the refs incompetence to win a game.

Some teams are winning games on the back of the refs ineptness ... some are losing because of it.

So a call in the 67th minute that would have levelled the scores undoubtedly cost you the game.....interesting

Also so impressed by the ridiculous depth of our forwards this year. It seems when one goes down we just pull up another stud. Akauola is wanting for nothing ... except a kicking game lol.

Such an important win for us. So happy. Hard luck Eels.

What a way to throw away a game - we GIFTED them the game.

Forget the mistakes, kicking for goal alone...............

He missed three kicks from the sideline. Some days they just don't go over.

Sandow had a decent game. Some rocks, some diamonds. It's his job to take risks. The worst thing about this game was our lack of support play in attack and defence.

meh I thought it was a simple no-try decision. Brooks was taken out, regardless of intention, by a decoy runner. I was barracking for Parra pretty hard too

Sandow had a very up and down game. Some great runs and kicks, but that pass for the intercept was dreadful and Parra probably win if he doesn't miss an easy (by NRL standards) conversion for Semi's try.

Better team lost.

As I said eariler, I reckon Gower takes Brookes out with his leg which caused him to fall, not the bump he got from Gower's arm. It was a clear no try in my mind

How am I carrying on like a dickhead? I've admitted many times parra should have won. I believe, as the majority of ppl who aren't parra fans do, that the hopoate try call was correct. This guy says a call that would have LEVELLED the scores in the 67th minute cost parra victory. I'm pointing out how stupid that is.

No I am not. I am way more peeved off at the final penalty in the first half. That was by far the worse on-field decision I have seen in a long time.

Whoever gave that penalty should be axed from first grade.

Now will the Tigers get some f**king respect.
No Farah, Tedesco, Fulton, Sironen.

Our forwards did the job

I thought it was forward, you thought it was back

I thought hoppas try was no try, you thought it was a try

Neither will convince the other. At the end of the day nothing's going to change the scoreboard.

Fair call on two of them but with Semi's try, any NRL standard goal-kicker should have slotted that over without trouble. He got struck by nerves with the game on the line.
