To the people arguing whether it was a reportable offence or not - it doesn't matter.
It was in the act of a potential scoring play. The referee can go to the video ref at any time in those situations.

Luke suffered a cut at the place were he was kicked....notice the bleeding?

He also suffered a lump from that knee to the back of the head.

That knee, after watching it a few times, was not accidental.Kasiano's body changes direction to conclude without a doubt that it was intentional and malicious.

He is in deep mire.

Morris must have done well to kick him in the back of the head while in front of him.

He was bleeding on the back of his scone from the knee.

What did it make contact with then?

The follow through

If it was a Steve Price-like dive at the legs then I have no problem. But because the on field ref missed it, the video ref shouldn't have made the call

Just because contact was made, it doesn't warrant the video ref to over-rule.

Same thing with high tackles, the video ref doesn't over-rule every time contact is made with the head.

But in this case it did, so why cry about it? Illegal action gets penalised and you want to say its unfair that it got penalised?

So? It doesn't matter.

If Burgess would have hung onto that pass 15 yards out in the first half,Souths still win it.

I'm sure the Dogs had opportunities as well which would have made a difference to the scoreboard.

But the game isn't won on lost opportunities, but won on the final scoreboard.

The Dogs club have been severely warned in the past about unruly crowd behaviour.

Time to dock some comp points.

atleast try and hide your emotion of hate towards the bulldogs.

people may then read your posts.

The on-field ref asked the video ref to look at it, as is their right in a potential point-scoring play.

If reports of Souths fans getting king-hit while leaving the crowd are right, is it any wonder nobody wants to deal with feral Bulldogs fans?

Millards action in pushing Morris in the back and off the ball from the bs penalty restart was a foul too,yet because of which team he plays for nothing came of it,yet you noisy bunny supporters are happy to bag out every other teams players and pat the refs on the back for getting what you think was a right call.

He was bleeding from the front as well

You know that blood flows right? Blood being on his face does not actually mean he was cut there.

The blood flowed around his ear and onto his right cheek. Morris's foot was at best within a couple inches of the left side of Luke's face

Yep.

That's called tough luck.

Welcome to sport.

The Dogs are a disgrace. End of thread.

They should be docked points after the behaviour of their fans.

Souths got a couple of contentious penalties at the end; but the one for the field goal was 50-50.

Bottom line is the Dogs should have been good enough to close that game out. They weren't.

Reynolds looking at being out for up to 4 months

Reynolds generally looks like he is going to be out for 3 years every time he clutched at anything. Without any scans such a estimate is nothing more than Maguire trying to justify the penalty in the press conference
