Right the nrl did introduce a "wall" rule outlawing defensive players forming a wall of two or more blockers. I think on the balance the panthers did deseve to win (although they kept inviting us in) but i do feel that the refs did get the rule wrong

Side by side meaning shoulder to shoulder... this was not the case, there was a gap between them...

Id like to see it again but i do recall a wall being formed.

Again, we had plenty of chances to win. I just feel that the refs got that wrong. Im willing to concede im wrong though.

I dont think your reading is correct either. If the two players form a wall an inch a part that to me is a wall

Merrin intentionally stepped into Vaughan and it's a penalty by the rule book so the bunker should have ruled on it.

I'm not sure if they could rule on it though, even were it clear as day. Try scoring, restarts and reportable offenses are what they are limited too from what I recall. They released a list this week to the media with a small number of incedents the bunker can intervene with.

Lmfao. Bunker got those calls right. Papali held up. Lee knocks on. No angle proved otherwise.

Our record average for tight finishes just got even toghter with a 1 point game. I cant afford all the alcohol i need to get through these games

Bullshit.

You should have lost and you f**king know it.

Raiders scored 6 tries, had 2 of them scandalously taken off them for no other reason than the NRL script said a Penrith win.

The Panthers were guilty of an obstruction in the lead up to the field goal, but it was disgracefully not penalised.

You guys had the refs in your back pocket, just admit it. Doesn't change the result, but if I was a Panthers fan I'd feel pretty bloody dirty about not actually earning a win.

Damn, I missed the last couple of minutes, so can I have a score check please ? :)

19-18 ft to the Panthers.

I'll leave now as other Panthers supporters will,so Raiders fans can have a meltdown in this thread.

If it helps, that field goal shouldn't have been awarded.

But like any season, you're going to cop shit calls. And the Raiders in that 2nd half did have enough ball to win by 20.

On-field refs sent it up to be checked as it's a scoring play, so they can check anything.

The bunker ruled incorrectly against the Raiders on a point scoring play for the 4th time in the match.

Sorry they do not have to get out of the way. Your bloke initiated contact, and he cannot possibly have been back 10 anyway.

Panther fan here and openly acknowledge that we didn't deserve to win.

I don't think that was because of refereeing decisions -although I accept the 50/50 calls went our way.

Rather, we did everything possible to lose in the second half. We dropped so much ball and gave away so many silly penalties that the only thing that prevented us from losing was that we got lucky. A number of moments could have gone the other way and we would have been done (Lee getting held up inches from the line, and Moylan's hand under the ball to stop Papalii). Wallace obviously recognised all that based on how he responded in the post match interview on Fox.

They cannot form a wall. They formed a wall.

And he was square at marker. Get some new eyes, you're f**king blind.

The bunker shouldn't even be ruling on shit like that anyway. The refs are becoming way too dependent on it and its sucking a lot of enjoyment from the game. Have it for tries only, no reviewing shit and getting a call three tackles back.

What is it with Raiders fans and their absolute die hard insistence that they get robbed almost every week? I've honestly never seen a fan base like it. Honest question too. Everyone has fans like Rhyno who are just deadshits but living in Canberra its endemic in the supporter base across the board. Its interesting and I wonder where it comes from
