Bullshit.

You should have lost and you f**king know it.

Raiders scored 6 tries, had 2 of them scandalously taken off them for no other reason than the NRL script said a Penrith win.

The Panthers were guilty of an obstruction in the lead up to the field goal, but it was disgracefully not penalised.

You guys had the refs in your back pocket, just admit it. Doesn't change the result, but if I was a Panthers fan I'd feel pretty bloody dirty about not actually earning a win.

Big comedown from your 60 point win from last week eh?

We've all been through games like this Skeepe. Its just the way it goes. You have a bloody good side there mate so don't lose focus for the long term.

Sorry they do not have to get out of the way. Your bloke initiated contact, and he cannot possibly have been back 10 anyway.

Lmao he was the marker. I know your gimmick is incredibly biased panthers fan but everything you wrote in that paragraph was wrong. Amazing effort mate

What is it with Raiders fans and their absolute die hard insistence that they get robbed almost every week? I've honestly never seen a fan base like it. Honest question too. Everyone has fans like Rhyno who are just deadshits but living in Canberra its endemic in the supporter base across the board. Its interesting and I wonder where it comes from

It comes from getting robbed almost every single week.

Not that hard to understand.

Unless I've missed someone, its literally just Skeepe. Everyone else has said we had the opportunity to win it but blew it.

The bunker shouldn't even be ruling on shit like that anyway. The refs are becoming way too dependent on it and its sucking a lot of enjoyment from the game. Have it for tries only, no reviewing shit and getting a call three tackles back.

This 100%. It's becoming farcical how often they are going to the bunker. It seems like every other call is being made by someone not even at the fking game. On-field official standards have dropped significantly over the past few years imo.

On-field refs sent it up to be checked as it's a scoring play, so they can check anything.

The bunker ruled incorrectly against the Raiders on a point scoring play for the 4th time in the match.

I thought it was just try scoring plays, but found the list and yeah it is just point scoring plays including field goals.

As for the wall, Merrin did form a wall with the player on his right but there was a gap between this wall and the player who played the ball on his left which was where your player tried to run through.

Sorry they do not have to get out of the way. Your bloke initiated contact, and he cannot possibly have been back 10 anyway.

He was marker so it would be more if he was judged square or not.

Wallace was just far too deep for any of it to matter really so they just said screw it, give the field goal.

A tackle or 2 before the Wallace field goal we had a player held down for an eternity. Definitely a penalty

I was waiting for one there as well, but the whistle goes in the pocket in the last couple minutes when scores are tied.

The refs are reluctant to blow penalties in that kind of situation but i remember it and thought we were riding the line

I don't think the 7 tackle rule is really fair when it is a FG shoot out

I agree with that. Particularly given that field goal attempts usually happen in golden point type situations. The 7 tackle set is then enough for the other team to get all the way down to the other end and take a shot. There should be an exception when attempting a field goal.

A few penalties in the ruck weren't awarded to the Panthers. Not to mention a couple were we lost the ball.

But overall, you have to credit both sides for a good, tight contest.

There were a few more just in this thread, but thats only part of it. It's not just here like I said, and Brumbies fans seem to have the same attitude. I just wonder where it came from is all. I mean, Parra fans can whinge with the best of them don't get me wrong, but it seems specific to Canberra sports fans that many feel like they've been robbed blind when they lose
