Post it again, maybe its changed in the last 10 minutes
I'm saying split ownership will cause division until one party leaves the arrangement. I don't think the license will leave Perth. Why are so sure they are trying to Flee what's already a sweet deal, they are only allowed back in on the contingent that they are a Perth team, the western force and Perth glory haven't left Perth have they, why would this be any different
So not a joint venture? It’s not the nfl where they can move franchises (even the nfl needs the commission approval)
it’s a PERTH license
A journo getting his info from the bears officials. Lol, not quite VLandys words.Unlike you we can read Dumbo. These are journalist's words not quotes.
You really are thick.
Then there's no problem then is thereI'm saying split ownership will cause division until one party leaves the arrangement. I don't think the license will leave Perth.
Ah, yes there is if they think Perth people will get behind a Sydney owned club. They can't be that delusional. Then there's no problem then is there
I don't think they will care, after a few wins, and the fact they have the content to actually view, it'll end up being a good thingAh, yes there is if they think Perth people will get behind a Sydney owned club. They can't be that delusional.
Despite talking to Perth people on here who have said they will care?I don't think they will care, after a few wins, and the fact they have the content to actually view, it'll end up being a good thing

The disgruntled perthred... please, this is the best case senerio, and over time, it will be a team choc full of your local kids who will be elite, and represent the state far better than the current system has been able to do... we are talking about a team that can rival the pokie endorsed east coast clubs, something that cannot be done in WA because of it laws (you can argue right or wrong, don't matter) dem de facts, sooner you learn to accept that, the better it will be, there's so much upsideDespite talking to Perth people on here who have said they will care?
Can't wait for kick off karenYeah but us Sydneysiders know better, so just do as you're told.
Lots of NRL clubs survive without pokies. All WA sports teams do aswell. The disgruntled perthred... please, this is the best case senerio, and over time, it will be a team choc full of your local kids who will be elite, and represent the state far better than the current system has been able to do... we are talking about a team that can rival the pokie endorsed east coast clubs, something that cannot be done in WA because of it laws (you can argue right or wrong, don't matter) dem de facts, sooner you learn to accept that, the better it will be, there's so much upside
Yeah that always goes down well over here.Yeah but us Sydneysiders know better, so just do as you're told.
Now they do, but they've already had decades of pathways set up, that have gotten then there, by using those pokie lounges, WA haven't been able to start, the closest was when the Reds existed, and even then that died off pretty much, you need reserve graders to challenge other reserve graders, and you need them to be able to step up to 1st grade, Wa has neither, I'm not trying put shit on it, just stating that it needs to be strong as it can be to cement that fanbase asap... I've always said this, I'm not against expansion or Perth, just it's current player pool needs more development, its definitely a market and potential growth for the player pool for RLLots of NRL clubs survive without pokies. Cmon that's a donkey argument. If thats norths business plan then it says it all.
I've never argued that they will need a feeder club. That doesn't need giving up ownership. 100 percent. I've always supported a Perth side but the bs about the player numbers is annoying. Perth currently plays at level of the sport that is in a place that doesn't play that sport.. it's going to be bloody tough going few a long time..paying part timer's to fly across country. They'll sign top 30 players from all over the country like every other club. Norths involvement won't change this.100 percent. Why would the people of Perth be against the Bears? They have a history with North Sydney I'm not familiar with?I've never argued that they will need a feeder club. That doesn't need giving up ownership.
And I agree you need to cement the fanbase. 100% of fans in Perth will get behind the pirates. Much less than 100% will go for the Bears especially if they are the owners. They'll be starting up with some fans against it.
For what? A logo?
VLlandys isn't giving Perth the best chance to succeed. But PNG and NZ are.
