Pvl said a joint venture1. That would be a mistake
2. No-one in the public knows how it would be structured at this stage
thats how every joint venture in rugby league has gone so far
but sure maybe this will be different

Massive mistake. You only need to have a look at the wests tigers. It would need to be structured like the Northern Eagles. If it goes to shit the licence reverts to Perth.1. That would be a mistake
2. No-one in the public knows how it would be structured at this stage
Bold - I don’t care what you think.I'm sure the new club will be happy to find out that they have a 100+ year premiership drought before they even start.
Oh and reported by who?
Do North Sydney Bears fans realise they're not getting a reincarnation of the North Sydney Bears?
The only time they will be able to watch the North Sydney Bears run onto NSO for a match is in the NSW Cup and lower age competitions.
Joint ventures never work. At best, the Perth Bears will be a squabbling mess like the St George Illawarra Dragons and Wests Tigers. At worst, they'll end up like the Northern Eagles and Brothers-Valleys.
It's why the only way I support the Bears coming back is as the Central Coast Bears. At least that has the capacity to work.
Well opinions on here have historically been incorrect.I think it would have to be a joint venture.
You'd expect North Sydney would want to protect their right to continue to run their junior programs and a NSW Cup side without a Perth base entity shutting it down.
The critical area will be the joint venture board structure which must give the majority share to the Perth entity to run the NRL side in Perth as they see fit.

Your question. News
I don’t have mates on here. Can you link it, because your mate wb is claiming it will be a 50/50 joint venture, and as we all know, he's read all the bid docs.
I posed the full articleI don’t have mates on here.
It’s behind a paywall for those of us that aren’t cheap. I would have thought you’d have a subscription Perth Red.

then becauseI know the people bagging the bears are stupid I made a new post for each quote and put it in bold
pvl stated Perth won’t get a team without the bears and that it would be a joint venture
sook harder. Why would I have a subscription to read what Murdoch trash writes? 99.99% of what they write is agenda driven bullshit.
Oh and lol at being called an alt by the account that didn't post for 10 years and then suddenly returned knowing everything about everyone.
No, PVL stated that Perth won’t get a team without the Bears and Bears won’t come in without Perth (Location).I posed the full article

I assumed this the case too, I mean I keep hearing the govt liasion didn't want Cumins to talk to the bears or arlc, so that just means they are happy to have that brand just port over, without the current WANRL involvementNo, PVL stated that Perth won’t get a team without the Bears and Bears won’t come in without Perth (Location).
No where did he state it had to be a joint venture. A full relocation will fulfil what PVL has said.
Bears will retain their entire history. The partnership between the Bears and Perth will be through the WA Government in my opinion. Not with a WA consortium or bid team.
I heard the opposite.I assumed this the case too, I mean I keep hearing the govt liasion didn't want Cumins to talk to the bears or arlc, so that just means they are happy to have that brand just port over, without the current WANRL involvement
I heard the western pacifika brand kicking up a stink too, they thought they had this in the bag, a last minute Daniel Dickson swoop in to steal the perf licence away from Rottnest Islands Western Pasifika franchise.... dry those tears alwaysgreen, you salty MofoI heard the opposite.
I keep hearing that PNG is joining the Chinese Ping Pong League.I heard the western pacifika brand kicking up a stink too, they thought they had this in the bag
