Seems weird that he wants Perth to accept a merger but he wouldn't accept one for his own club. They’d be missed more than Balmain. Their dead.

Balmain Australian Football Club - Community Football Club competing in the Sydney AFL Competition with Teams in Men’s, Women’s and Masters competitionsbalmainafc.comtJust had a look at all comps in Sydney. Not one called Balmain. Not one. I think they’re dead.
Stop making sense. The Perth club needs a nursemaid failed Sydney club to mollycoddle it.The only real question that matters is whether Perth people will accept the Bears.
The team must be a WA team. As such, I would not play ANY games at North Sydney oval. The team cannot be North Sydney.
They can create a Bears Sydney Season ticket and still see a heap of Bears games.
The logo must also be reinvigorated and made to be WA oriented.
I would also ensure yellow is included in the Perth home game jersey as a connection to the Western Reds history.
They can create a heritage jersey and like Swans acknowledge the heritage but it must be unequivocal that the side is Perth.
The licence must be held by Perth not North Sydney. Similar to the Northern Eagles, if the Bears divide the side, they will lose representation in the NRL.
This example of a Bears logo - with the left side of the face being the WA coastline could be a good trajectory with design.
I really don't have a problem with the Sharks taking the smart option in 1995. My club did the same and is alive and thriving due to making that smart business move.So true. And here we are alive and thriving and getting richer and annoying wankers like you. Up Up!
Find me a team called Balmain.Aren’t you the person who says he’s the expert on juniors ?
maybe you should look again

What I find hypocritical is you shitting on a Sydney club that was shafted by the ARL after remaining loyal. I can understand you being against the Bears returning under their current proposal, but don't shit on their history. Your club took 50 years to win its first premiership. Bears won two inside their first two decades of existence.

That gotta be the bare minimum. The only real question that matters is whether Perth people will accept the Bears.

Meanwhile Balmain is so dead there isn’t one team left named after them.Won those comps with a Queensland rugby league legend
what pisses me off is the bears relocated out of Sydney and We’re promised a spot as the Gosford team. The arl and news ltd then backed away
then they merged with manly and manly were absolute grubs making sure it failed and they returned on their own
so the bears did everything right but bad luck go and die ?
good luck to the bears for coming back they should’ve been like south’s and taken news ltd and the nrl to court when they tried to kick them out
I have you old sourpussFind me a team called Balmain.
West Coast Sharks.Their crowd last night was on par with what hull kr get
All the more reason to merge his club with Perth reds one
Western Australians on social media are against a Sydney club relocating to Perth. Peter Cumins was right when he said parochial Western Australians don't care for NSWRL clubs they've never heard of.I knew you would agree with me
It’s a Great Dane conspiracy theory how much chance of it happening ?
the Perth fans on this thread aren’t reflective of most rugby league fans
if it’s bears jets of timbucktoos as long as it’s a good team
as a stand alone team they have decades of struggle
If the poll was Perth bears or nothing how would it goWestern Australians on social media are against a Sydney club relocating to Perth. Peter Cumins was right when he said parochial Western Australians don't care for NSWRL clubs they've never heard of.
Yep, the only fair thing to do would be for the perth club to get 16 home games and nrl to pay for private jets lolLook. It's a challenge, one we were told doesn't exist. I want a Perth team but these challenges do in fact exist.
