You've spent the last 2 pages trying to argue that somebody said something which they didn't. So..
You still havent told us what you think he meant when he said to catch up to AFL's revenue we need to a have a national competition. What exactly do you think he meant by that?

There’s only so many times you can keep ignoring us before we’ll just give it up. That’d open up perth nicely for a third afl team eventually.
Nrl needs to grow some balls and expand the game into new markets, and I’m not talking Vegas lol
The NRL is well within its rights to ignore you as you don't actually offer as much as you think.

Your sport will put another team in Perth regardless of whether there is an NRL team there or not, so that attempt at blackmail won't work. That said, I'm not sure how many more white people there are in Sa, Vic and WA to form another team.

I'm not going to put words into uncle Nick's mouth. It's a broad statement. Specifically, nobody but u has said afl gets more TV money because it covers all metros. Makes me wonder why other "national" comps like the A league getting dumped by fox or nine eagerness for more qld teams.

haah. you dont need to, he has literally told us what he thinks. National comp = more revenue. Any sane person can see what it means. It means to match AFL revenue we need teams in perth and Adelaide. according to Uncle Nick anyways.

Your comparing tier 1 sport with tier 2 and 3 sports. You think ALeague gets same money as now if only in 3 capital cities?

I'm starting to think ur mad; reading into other's comments stuff which isn't stated. Like that woman who thought a TV host was sending her cyrptic messages in his opening monolog every night.

National comp is no silver bullet. Superleague would've kept rams & reds otherwise. A league is now a joke..

Again would Aleague be more or less valuable with only 3 capital cities involved?

and again, you dont need to interpret anything, he literally spelled out what he means. A national comp will earn more revenue, in his opinion.

Keep posting the same thing 100 times. A league has 5 metros & NRL has 3. NRL is worth infinitely more to broadcasters. Being "national" is not factor

Roosters & South's aren't moving from center of richest city in this country to the central coast. Fact that think that probably means u have no idea how world works
Two issues here - the club grant (as it is) makes it unlikely that ANY club will feel pressure to move, plus the NRL's track record has been to do everything to accommodate a club NOT moving.

Also worth considering is the appeal of the Central Coast versus currently unrepresented metro markets (Perth & Adelaide) without any NRL club. While CC is part of RL heartland, those 2 cities have a concentrated-in-one-city mass of people & corporates that may be compelling for a relocation.

Again you're comparing two very different levels of popularity of sports. the question you actually need to ask is would Aleague be less valuable with only 3 capital cities and would NRL be more valuable if it had all 5.
Politis clearly agrees with me that the answer is yes to the latter.

That and PRs persistence in bringing up metros when really all he cares about is getting perf into the NRL, thats it, every argument points towards that end and that end of...

The NRL will not allow a team on the Central Coast as that will have a negative impact on clubs like the Roosters, Newcastle and Manly plus there are nine clubs in Sydney and 11 clubs in NSW.

In the current setup, the only way I can see a Central Coast NRL team happening any time soon is if the perfect storm hits the Roosters (bad form, dropping crowds, severely reduced revenue, Nick passing away etc etc), they get no bailout from the NRL, and decide to move there rather than sell-up to a new owner "as is, where is"

Extremely unlikely.

Roosters have a massive asset base, a strong corporate support and decent crowds. With the NRL grant now they're are financially very secure and financial strife is the only way any club may move, but even then the NRl would bail them out first.

Why people keep talking about relocations or dropping clubs when it has zero chance of happening I dont know.
