Or Toulouse could beat featherstone on the pitch and gain promotion back into super league?

And huddersfield with crowds of under 5k kicked out replaced by Toronto who average over 10k
Perth positive.

NZ2 positive.

brisbane3 positive.

PNG titanic and hindenburg written all over it unfortunately.
when it comes to failed expansion pommies have a better idea than Aussies so perhaps people should listen to you

how to make rugby league a small sport
Take. A big rugby league comp and listen to a pom

Bring Back The Bears
Four rounds remaining in the NSW Cup, the Bears play the Knights (away), the Roosters (home), the Panthers (home) and the Raiders (home).

Argue about the timing if you want but a 20 team comp is just about a certainty

If/when it gets to 20 it will most likely be 3 of Perth, PNG, NZ2 (Christchurch or Wellington) or Brisbane 3. So one of those will miss out plus Adelaide, Christchurch/Wellington, Auckland 2, CQ, Sunshine Coast, Melbourne 2, Bears etc. Not impossible to see it going past 20 with decent options still on the table assuming nothing changes and relocations remain unlikely.

In theory with a few international teams and decent pathways all across Australia, NZ & the Pacific the NRL having 22 or 24 teams is not out of the question. Compare to main rival AFL who will go to at least 20 with teams all in Australia, players all from Australia and much larger squads.

19th team Souths-Logan magpies.

It is probably now or never for the Bears and Jets with V’landys a sucker for nostalgia. Whether they can come up with an arrangement that suits any of Perth/Christchurch/Wellington/Adelaide/Brisbane 3 for any of teams 18-20 remains to be seen.

Fine be a twat, it’s on par for you

Someone said on Twitter a new team by 2026 is a chance

the delays due to the cba aren’t helping it

2026 sounds right.

Logan magpies set up at Logan sports center which is almost in middle between Ipswich & Logan council areas.
