so with the PNG bid going up in flames like a Port Moresby convince store who’s now in pole position for the 18th team?

my preference would be Perth or NZ2 but I think we’ll get another south east Queensland team.
Brisbane Tigers are my pick.

The only way PNG gets the 18th licence is through Gov funding. It could happen with Albo as PM. I'm not saying it should happen, but if it does I'll be genuinely happy for Papuans who live and breathe RL. It'll be a fairytale come true.

I guess you just can’t help yourself mate.

the PNG NRL bid has come crashing down thanks to the harsh realities on a 3rd world country ground.
I spoke of the problems at length, in detail how bad png was but nobody listened! Now 22 people dead, the place is smouldering ..
You couldn't be more wrong, naturally they're lashing out and in denial.

It's the Chernobyl of bids.

Same here mate.

To be fair anyone capable of critical thinking could have seen the potential pitfalls of putting a PNG team in the NRL a mile off and now tragically it’s playing out in front of us today unfortunately .

I doubt that the PM will be there by the end of the year at this rate.
Things could get much worse. I was in Sri Lanka in the build up to overthrow thier government, this could easily escalate to that. Let's hope not.

Absolutely possible.

what if a new PM wants closer relations with Beijing?
