I dont follow tennis so wouldnt now but its looks like you're wrong?

cricket, afl, big stadium concerts, Brisbane is being left behind not having a decent oval. Even your jewel in the crown Suncorp cant host big games really anymore in comparison to other cities. I mean theres only Adelaide with a smaller capacity option than Brisbane these days lol
you're right, took us a couple of decades to finally get the oval sorted, we have a world class indoor arena, hopefully rectangular stadium is next and sooner.
Perth only hosts the group matches for the United Cup, hence why I said Perth doesn't have a "proper ATP/WTA event". It's basically a Sydney event with a few minor round games in Perth. The United Cup began as the ATP Cup, but changed it to the United Cup because interest in it was so low.

Until this year Perth had to share group matches with Brisbane and Sydney. The lowest rated games were held in Perth when Brisbane co-hosted the event with Sydney. This would still be the case if the Queensland Gov didn't turn their back on it due to low public interest.

The Brisbane International and Adelaide International are proper events on the ATP and WTA.

You usually claim that govts need to build things before even being allowed to bid. What a shock that that no longer applies.
I never said the event should be held at Tennyson under its current configuration. I said Melbourne's hot dry January climate isn't suitable for tennis. There have been cases of players falling ill due to the heat.

This is the typical Maxipad strawman argument that you trot out when you're on the rag.

Don't like your hypocrisy being point out huh? You'd have thousands of posts opposing any future Perth team because of their current facilities.

I wasn't trolling. I was pointing out how dumb your statement was, and then how much of a hypocrite you are. Not my fault that the facts embarrassed you.

You deliberately misinterpreted my statement so you could argue against something I never said. It's what you do. I've seen you use this tactic on numerous occasions. You're really boring and predictable.

Up your game moron. Everyone on here can see through your poor attempts at trolling.

I'm not taking sides with the dope from Logan but you're basically arguing which city has the best AFL ground on a Rugby League forum just to win points for Perth. If you want to compare infrastructure and amenities between the 2 cities I think Brisbane will still come out on top...
